First time in this restaurant. Staff was great! Ordered 3 tamales and a California burrito. As pictured.
I was surprised by the tamales as they had a wonderful flavor! The”husk” was great and had a nice homemade texture to them. The meat was nice and soft with a good amount of seasoning. The toppings were not necessary but the cheese and sauce was a pleasant addition.
The burrito was well cooked and delightful. The tortilla wasn’t super “squishy” as I’ve had in other places. Over time that changes if course. The flavors were mild and the ground beef didn’t have a “chalky” texture.
The burrito also didn’t have a mess of grease as well. Very nice. The sour cream, which I don’t care for, was also very pleasant and creamy.
Great food for the process and quantity.
My only drawback is the plates were very hot! The food was lukewarm compared to the plates. The plates burned my hand a touch but the food was not like that at all. This is both good and bad. Good that I could eat the food without getting burned, bad that the plates can burn. So I hope they find a good medium on that.
I’ll be returning here in the future for more great food.

We live in Toledo and we were in town for a program for our son. We always try different Mexican restaurants at different destinations. This restaurant was amazing. Margaritas were on point, food was delicious, friendly staff, clean restaurant all at a very affordable price point. We’d recommend it to anyone and we’ll probably revisit another time. Thank you!

Been here twice, first time got the Birria Pizza….it was awesome and too much for me to eat in one sitting. Second time got the Oilers Burrito. It was even better and also too much for me to eat in one sitting!! Must be the basket of chips and salsa I eat before my meal gets there. My new favorite mexican place in the area!

I had heard really good things so I was excited. It was good not great. Staff was incredibly friendly. I dont think I’ve ever been served so fast anywhere in my life. Food was good. Got a plain margarita that just tasted off. We’ll be back

The fajitas were excellent. Plenty of well seasoned, fresh chicken, pepper and onions. My husband got the Oiler’s burrito and will get it again. It was packed with all of the meats and the queso was amazing. I liked the atmosphere, it was very clean and everyone was so friendly. Frozen margaritas with tajin were great as well. We will be back!

First time coming to the resturant. I was very impressed. They have a wide selection of items on the menu and they dont sacrifice quality for quantity. Items are decently priced and delicious. Margaritas were very good and they have flavors that I have never heard of(green apple, blueberry, pineapple etc.) This place will definitely be competion for Cocina De Carlos in waterville.
