Probably the finest dining in town. We were home for a quick visit and had to make a stop here. The food is fresh and everything is delicious. Our only complaint was the time it took to get a refill on our water. Many of us had empty glasses sitting for a while before we could flag somebody down for help.

Great food and a beautiful location, they were packed so service was a bit slow. Everything was very good and the sushi was great.

The food was fantastic, the service was good but nothing crazy special other than the sweet lil old sushi chef that would smile and wave from the sushi bar. The restaurant looks over the bay and is beautiful. The food was top tier and the crab appetizer may possibly be the best crab I’ve ever put in my mouth y’all go check them out.

Picturesque riverfront setting, with waterfront warehouse kinda vibe. Friendly, but a bit inattentive service. Decent food, neither here nor there. The salmon was probably the most ordinary salmon I had in Alaska, which is the home of salmon!

I especially love the blackjack rolls. Several sushi rolls on the menu are very good. Appetizers like spicy tataki are also delicious. Good clam chowder. Some seating areas have a nice view of the channel.

Best Japanese/sushi/Asian restaurant in Kodiak! Excellent selection and choices, beer, wine, sake and presentation. We ordered the Sushi B plate and salmon salad and were very satisfied – tasted super fresh. Would recommend any of the sushi/nigiri options.
As a bonus, we sat on the water side and were able to watch a seal and fin whale swimming in the inlet!

The food was good. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning and updates. It was messy, dirty, windows weren’t clean or clear, dining furniture old and tattered. Broken items crowded all over the place. Not a nice atmosphere. Definitely needs a full revamp and deep clean.

High-quality sushi served in a comfortable environment with friendly staff. Clearly understaffed right now — I didn’t need to see the help-wanted sign to know that — but still worth a visit.
Reservations are suggested, but they managed to accommodate our group of 5 on a Monday night with no wait. You won’t have as much luck on a busy Friday or weekend day.
Expect to spend a bit more — for five people with entrees and drinks, we paid $190. Dinner for two might run you $50.
