It’s cute but the food falls way short.
We ordered:
-Chicken lettuce wraps: 3/10 tasted like dogfood. Somehow despite sitting in juice, the chicken was very dry.
-Side of carrots: 10/10 great
-Cuban sandwich: 7/10 – pulled a long black hair out of it (not ours)
-espresso martini: 7/10
Service:
Very pushy and rushed for no reason – open tables were available. We just paid the check and I still have 1/2 of my espresso martini left to drink.
Won’t be back, unfortunately.

Really enjoyed it here! Pretty inside and diverse menu. We ordered the spicy tuna and the beets/burrata apps, followed by the hanger steak and butter chicken entrees. And a kids mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and our 2.5 year old loved it all too! Friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely come back!

Mac ‘n cheese was absolutely amazing. The service was also outstanding from the host to our server! If the weather permits, sitting outside was beautiful. We also got the Chicken Milanese, which was piping hot and a side of carrots; the perfect amount of food for us to share as a couple.

Great oysters and Cuban sandwich. I live in FL, so I appreciate a great Cuban. My wife had two different salads. They were both great. Sat with some regulars who could not stop talking about the different dishes. Will go back. Great service oriented restaurant.

Kid-Friendly: The kids’ menu was a highlight, with my 5-year-old daughter raving about the wagon wheel pasta and said it was the best “Daddy Date Night pasta she had ever had”.
Negatives:
Vietnamese Wings: The Vietnamese wings were dry and overcooked, lacking the flavor and juiciness I anticipated.
Thai Red Curry: The tofu and vegetable Thai red curry was a major disappointment. It was watery, lacked depth of flavor, and the vegetables were undercooked.
Inconsistent Quality: The overall quality of the dishes seemed inconsistent, suggesting potential issues with preparation or ingredients.
Our server offered to remake the dish, but considering the undercooked vegetables and seemingly unmarinated tofu, I declined. The manager removed the item from the bill, but their response was apathetic, suggesting a lack of interest in customer feedback.
While The Meeting House may still be a good option for families seeking a kid-friendly dining experience, I would recommend caution when ordering more complex dishes. It’s possible that the kitchen may have been having an off day, but my experience was less than satisfactory.
