Serving hoagies with classy fillings like housemade lamb sausage or classic Italian deli meats.

I’m having a hard time thinking of a better meal/experience than the tasting menu at Paesano’s. Chef Peter introduces himself to each group and then begins with a thorough walkthrough of the menu. His two sons provide excellent service from the time you sit down until you are ready to leave. Every course was delicious and there was plenty to take home (it is just as good the next day). My favorite bites from our menu were the snails & braciole. They went above and beyond to accommodate my wife who is a vegetarian. We finished the meal with espresso & sambuca. I’m already looking forward to the next time we can dine with them!

I probably eat here every week I’m in town. I have written home about the chicken cutlet sandwiches, they are that good. If you’re not a big eater, bring a friend or take half home.
Caprese specials in the summer were also memorable. The elusive chicken thigh Caesar sandwich lives in my head rent free.
In my eyes, this is the crown jewel of the Italian market and the best sandwich spot in the area. The welcoming team and warm environment make it easy to come back here again and again.

First timer experience and this place is a home run, I think it’s probably a home run everyday & every moment. The Diablo chicken hoagie with long hots brought me more dining pleasure than any other hoagie I’ve ever had. The mozzarella sticks were also freaking amazing. Wonderful service / head here for the real deal.

Huge and Flavorful Sandwiches
A local friend from Philly recommended me Paesano’s, and he was so on point!
We Ordered Arista, Daddy Wad, Knuckle and the Truffle Fries. If you’re looking for a great Philly Sandwich Shop, Paesano’s is a good one.
*sandwiches are shareable. Half a sandwich is good enough to feed an adult.

Everything about Paesano’s deserves 5 stars. From the friendly service and homey atmosphere to the absolute deliciousness that is their sandwiches! My first time here and it’s a new favorite restaurant in Philly.
I got the statiooch sandwich – cold roasted turkey breast, burrata, arugula, pesto mayo (a LOT of it) and roasted tomatoes. They were not skimpy with a single ingredient. The cross-section is deceiving because it was spewing out the sides. Expect it to be messy but flavorful.
I’ve heard great things about their tuna, and as a tuna lover, I will be going back to give it a try.

These sandwiches are for sharing. Or take half home for later. Ordered the Paesano sandwich (asked them to hold the fried egg) and it was full of amazing seasoned brisket. The show stoppers are the roasted tomatoes. Next time I’ll ask for extra tomatoes. They are unforgettable.

Fantastic, from the greeting upon entering to the helpful thoughts on choosing a sandwich.
Both came out looking massive and like a model sandwich. Each was super flavorful, loaded with meat and cheese, but also the correct amount of liquid, moisture, and greens – the herbs were fresh and elevated the cold cut sandwich to another level. The namesake sandwich, the Paesano is warm and rich, you have to eat this one quickly. I’d definitely return here.

This place is fire. Funny enough, my friend took me here after we placed an order at Angelo’s while we waited over an hour for our Philly cheese steak. So, we split a roast pork sandwich at Paesano’s and I’m so glad we did! The roast pork sandwich was delish. The spicy peppers were perfect – but they definitely pack a punch. For some, they’re definitely too spicy. Also, the staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted.
