We went as a first time visit, unsure if the pizza would be nasty, okay, or really good. We got the Meat Feast, my husband got a soda, and I was allowed to bring my jig of water.
The crust was soft with a little crunch to it, held up perfectly as we picked it up and ate slices. The toppings were loaded to the edge – and they didn’t skimp on them.
We went as soon as they opened so not much staff. We had just a moment to wait, placed our order, chose our seat, then about 15 minutes later, our food was delivered.
The plates are small – more like dessert plates – just big enough for one square of pizza at a time. When toppings fall off, there’s not much plate to catch them – not a problem with a 16″ pizza pan in front of you to catch them. Lol The dining area is good size and very open – it was rather chilly in the restaurant. I get hot most places but was chilled with upper 30s outside. I’m sure it warms up with more people and the ovens running.
We will definitely return.

This place must have new management. All the old negative reviews that I have read I do not feel accurate. I have been to a lot of Pizza Kings all over IN and this is a good one! The place is Very clean service was very friendly! The royal feast was Good. This Pizza King deserves a higher overall star rating than 4.0

The pizza was the worst we have ever had. Hardly any cheese or toppings. Thinest crust. We stopped ordering from here after many awful times, but thought we would give it another try. Never again. A Jacks frozen pizza was better. $64 for 2 pizzas that tasted like cardboard. We will not order again

Way below average This was in the TOP 5 WORST dining experiences of my life. We thought the many red phones on the walls were very weird until we needed to use one to contact our server three times! Once to inform her we were ready to order, once to ask how long until our order was ready, and once to get our check. Everything took forever and there was only one or two other tables with customers. This was on the 4th of July, so at least they were open but dang. Four of us each ordered a pizza and the quality was barely a shade above a frozen pizza from a grocery store. Not recommended

This was our first time eating at the Pizza King in Syracuse, and it was a wonderful experience.
Our waitress was very accommodating and attentive.
The pizza was great. We got a 16-inch half and half with Meat Feast on one side and Chicken Ranch Feast on the other. Both sides were delicious and had ample amounts of ingredients.
We will definitely add this place to our Sunday “rotation.”

Been going here for years. It good food all the way around, good service and the dine in is peaceful and fun experience with groups.
I’m only dropping a start because, as I said, I’ve been going for YEARS and remember when the BAKED SPAGHETTI filled a large plate!! It was one of my favorite items .. but sadly, a few years ago they “redid” the menu… Really all they did was change serving sizes for the pasta and strombolis… So until they go back I’ll only give 4 stars.
AGAIN, it’s still good tasting food. You won’t be disappointed in that area, but probably will with portions of pasta and sandwichs

Let’s be honest, Syracuse isn’t a 5 star place, nor would I want it to be. I’ve been coming here 30+ years and every visit reminds me that an incredible family night needs only a tasty pizza, cheese in every nook and cranny, friendly service and a loving, grounded family waiting at home to devour it.

Food was great! Service was awesome! As for the atmosphere I love the old school order by phone. We went before dinner time so it was empty. Wish there was a quarter machine for the games and stuff around the restaurant but the server was quick with quarters. Kids loved everything about it

the pizza looked great online so we decided to try it. we got home and discovered the meat pizza had no cheese on it & there were very little toppings on all the pizzas. the pepperoni pizza just had tiny chunks of pepperoni & we found a hair in it. & the pizza is extremely overpriced, save yourself some money & get a frozen pizza from walmart.
