This was my first time here, and it was amazing! Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted by the hostess and sat promptly. She was very nice, I think her name was Elizabeth. Our server, Maxwell, was amazing and he ensured our order was right and we were taken care of. We ordered truffle fries and Zeppoli Duo and it was amazing! Definitely some of the best truffle fries ive had in charlotte. Decor inside is gorgeous as well, cute speakeasy vibes. We will definitely be back and everyone should check out this place.

Came for restaurant week but honestly the food was disgusting!!! First walking in it smelled like spoiled seafood. The smell was strong the minute you opened the door. There was no flavor at all besides the the shrimp appetizer since it was drenched in sauce. Everyone at our table had almost there entire entree still there. We didn’t even want boxes to go. To charge $50 plus 20% gratuity is insane for what we got. The restaurant has so much potential, but the food is a 0/10. I got the steak and it was like they sautéd some tomatoes and threw it on top of the steak, laid out 4 pieces of potatoes and some pickled onions. Which the potatoes were cold. It was like they just threw the meal together. The grits had some creamy thick green sauce drizzled over it that looked like my toddler did it. After dessert 3 of us felt sick. Please consider a new chef or getting a new menu. I don’t imagine this place will last too long with sub par food service advertised as upscale. Came for a birthday celebration and we all left hungry and disappointed. Please do better!

My husband and I went for our anniversary, I ordered chicken and he ordered Steak. The steak was delicious, the chicken wasn’t my favorite. Nice presentation but it wasn’t my preference. The drinks were good. We had an early reservation so we had the place all to ourselves so I would definitely make a later reservation to get that lounge vibe, if that what you want.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in quality and attention to detail. The drinks were just as impressive — perfectly crafted and delicious.

The service was top-tier. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling overbearing.

Service is terrible, the food is very overpriced. Went for restaurant week and seriously wont be back. 20% tip was added to my check after not getting a beer for 30 mins after seating. Asked for med rare steak came out well done, brownies for dessert were not fully cooked and my friend order creme bruele and it was milk runny.

The food was bad and the service was just as bad.

First, no napkins were provided at the table. I had to ask for tissue, and they brought paper napkins instead of proper cloth napkins, which is unacceptable for an upscale restaurant.

The appetizer was the only good part; we ordered the octopus and duck empanadas. However, they brought the appetizers without any utensils, and we had to ask for them, which should be basic common sense.

While we were still halfway through the appetizer, the server brought out the main course. This was a very small table for two, and she simply left the plates there with no regard for space. The table was so packed that we had to move the main dishes to a nearby table just to be able to eat. When we finished the appetizer, we had to move the plates ourselves.

The sea bass entrée was extremely salty. I took one bite, then another, thinking it might just be me; well it wasn’t. I had my date try it, and he immediately said it was wayyyy too salty. We informed the server right away that the dish was not edible. She apologized and took it back to the kitchen.

When the bill came, we were told no adjustment could be made at all. Instead, they gave us a $20 gift card and had the nerve to pack the food to take home, even after I clearly stated it was inedible. Why would I take food I said I couldn’t eat?

We spoke to the manager to express our disappointment, and she showed a very dismissive, “I don’t care” attitude and simply repeated that nothing could be done.

For an upscale restaurant, this level of service and handling of a legitimate issue is unacceptable. I would not return and do not recommend at all

We had a great night during restaurant week. Our server Sonny was great, very attentive and funny. The food was really good, however the timing of the table service was a little off and half our party had to wait for apps and main meal. It didn’t bother us too much because we were not in a rush and just enjoying the vibe. We would come again!

Tried this place out for the first time and I thought the ambiance was awesome. The aesthetic of the whole restaurant was superb. The unique menu selections were great. I tried the octopus and the burrata. The Love potion Martini was delicious. My friend thought it was too dark in there but the lighting in there was intentional for the mood of a speakeasy.
