Visited La Compania and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, with a unique interior that gave the place its own character.
I tried the duck — it was tasty and flavorful, though a bit too salty for my liking. The dessert, on the other hand, felt homemade, like it was made just for us — a lovely touch that really stood out.
The only downside was the service. Our waitress didn’t seem very engaged, and we had to wait quite a while to get her attention. Hopefully, that was just a one-off situation.
All in all, I’d recommend this place, especially for the ambiance and food — just wish the service had matched the rest of the experience.

Amazing Italian place. We sat on the enclosed patio with a large group and service and food were fantastic! The server attended graciously, helped us choose multiple items, and everything tasted top notch. Definitely above and beyond what we expected.

La Compania is one of those rare places where you can feel how much the owner truly cares. David’s attention to quality and the overall customer experience really sets this restaurant apart. From the moment you walk in, everything feels thoughtful — from the service to the pacing of the meal to the care put into each dish.
The food is excellent, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and real pride, but what keeps us coming back is the experience. You’re not rushed, you’re genuinely welcomed, and you leave feeling like your night mattered. If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant that values both incredible food and how guests are treated, La Compania is a standout. Highly recommend.

A true hidden gem, this restaurant is an absolute delight, offering an exceptional culinary experience from start to finish. The menu is a symphony of flavors, with each dish showcasing the chef’s mastery of fresh, seasonal ingredients. That would be no mistake, anything that you order here is so delicious. The wine selection is equally impressive, meticulously curated to complement the cuisine. And the service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a truly exceptional culinary adventure.

Proud 3rd gen American Napolitano here. I took a girl on a date here, it didn’t work out but the food was incredible and she didn’t like it, so I’m glad it didn’t work out. She turned out to be insane, but not the good type of insane like my nonna hitting me with a spoon covered in pomodoro sals kinda insane- more like “I put pineapple on pizza” insane. She wasn’t Italian. The food was incredible- I hope this review makes you laugh or something.
In all seriousness, great service and cute outdoor dining. I got carbonara for an entree, and even after a year, I might just say that it was probably the best carbonara I’ve had out to eat. They used guanciale, no cream or peas like those fake Italian restaurants use. No prosciutto or pancetta, fresh and delicious guanciale. I realize, of course, it’s a Roman dish, but they still made it well- plus the dish itself originated from America, but like the good ol’ city of Rome, they bettered it, and I am proud to say that they aced it, if not, perfected it. My ancestors would be proud- if I lived in the area, I’d take my nonna here. She’s 89, doesn’t leave east Boston all too much, but I know she would love the food and service here, as it’s authentic to the region of Italy she was born in.

A true regional southern italian restaurant. Family owned and very high standards. No pics of our entrees because they looked so good we forgot to take pics. Wine list is exemplary. Do you like Barolo? Dine here.

First time there and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in the back room with the beautiful glass window view of the wine room next to our table. The atmosphere/ambience was so romantic and warm. It truly felt like we were in Italy with Tuscan vibes. Food was fresh and delicious but the desserts were stand out good. Angelo our waiter was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful meal here with my girlfriend. The staff was friendly and attentive and the space itself is very very nice – feels like something out of the Mediterranean! Our food was delicious and well portioned (I appreciated that). Price was fair for the quality and overall experience we had, it was great. We’re excited to visit again soon!

Amazing and authentic Italian food. My family is from Italy and I have been to Italy. This is close to what you can have in Rome. Not too many pastas to choose from but the menu is varied enough. If you like wine this is the place, the wine menu is huge. My only complaint are two things that are easy to correct. First the chairs are kind of uncomfortable and rustic/unfinished style, I wouldn’t mind if it was not for one pointy screw aiming and my behind, one incorrect move and pants could have been ripped. The second one was that our server seemed to be in a rush, and left us with the words hanging off our mouth a couple of times. Correct those things and it would be perfect. Regardless we will come back.
