I don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve ate pizza all around the world and this stood out by a mile. The pizza in Napoli didn’t even come close. I asked a local outside where the best pizza was and he pointed straight to the stage door. He said please get the pepperoni you won’t be disappointed. It was amazing. 8x better than Joe’s pizza. I’ve been back home from NY for over a year and I still think about this pizza.

Tried this combo deli/pizza parlor after visiting the 9/11’memorial and this is a very cool place! The lower level is a full deli and the upper level serves pizza . You can sit on either lever once you purchase your meal so there’s bound to be seating but I will tell you that during our meal, the place was packed so be aware you may have to wait during high traffic times! My everything bagel with tuna fish was delicious, as was the canoli we had for dessert! The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and the overall feel was friendly and welcoming. Try this place!

Pizza was okay, prices were reasonable. Quick slice of pizza before the 9/11 memorial. Definitely nothing to write home about but also not bad, just an average slice. It is upstairs so not very accessible.

We ordered a gyro plate which came with an option of either fries or rice. The staff didn’t ask for our option but served us fries. The food was badly presented, heaped on a small plate. The meat was dry and had no flavor, the salad had no dressing. We ate a few bites as we were super hungry and trashed the rest away. Very disappointed. This place is huge and has a ton of food on display but given the first experience we’re not going back there again.

Well deserved 5 Stars. The service was awesome. The bus boy was so attentive and so were the servers. From the girl that greets you to the guy that makes the pizzas. The Cappucinos were very nice and smooth. The pizza was delish all worth it. I wish I had stood up and I was able to eat many more slices because the pizzas in the display look sooooooo freshly good. The chicken calzone was excellent the cheese was creamy and the very flavorful. Definitely a place to visit when in NYC. All the girls were so nice thank you sooooo very much.

This was amazing! Of all the places, I chose Stage to be the first place to taste authentic New York Pizza, and I was not disappointed! Paired with a pitcher of beer, this was an amazing experience. We finished the visit with the best Cheese Cake I’ve tasted in years. I’ve never had cheesecake like this. Special recipe. Sweet, creamy, fluffy and absolutely Delicious. A must have is tough are on NYC!!

My favorite single slice of pizza in the world. Right across the street from the world trade center site. Head upstairs and grab a slice or 2.

Stopped in here because Joe’s had a long line. The experience started off a bit awkward. I was told I had to be seated, which already felt strange for a pizzeria. Then when I ordered a slice, I was told everything was “to go only.” I explained that I was told I could eat at the counter and would just stand there, and it was eventually fine — just an odd and confusing start.
I tried a regular slice and a margherita. The regular slice had a nice thin, crunchy crust but very little flavor — reminded me of a cheap dollar slice. The margherita, however, was solid and actually had good flavor. I’d order that again.
Decent concept, especially for a tourist-heavy area near the World Trade Center. Not bad, not great.

For my first time traveling to NYC I didn’t know what to expect for their pizza experience. I will say I was quite impressed! After visiting the September 11th Memorial I decided what would be within walking distance that I could explore. It felt just like the big city vibe where you walk in order off a busy hustling street and within minutes you get some great quality pizza with a fast past moving vibe and some workers who just love to crack a few friendly dry humor. I will say growing up around the Chicago area and having deep dish pizza’s, I actually prefer the NYC style of large think pizza slices more. You just get more flavor from each bit and also you get a little bit of the crispy crunchy smoked breading. Just perfect in your mouth and the flavors coming out.
