Sorry I just could not give this a great rating all because of how they treated us there. The two ladies definitely acted scared of 3 black people coming in at night and would not even act like they wanted us there. If we were familiar with the area and didn’t need some kind of food on our tummies, we would’ve left. We delivered 3 commercial units to a client nearby and looked up a Thai place close by, an and this is the place that popped up. They seemed like they kept the front area clean so we took a seat where we were told. The 1 lady stood there and just waited until we said something to her. We asked questions and at one point she picked up their large and slippery menu to show my coworker something she inquired about in such a disgusted manner. Afterwards I asked for the drink menu and she basically said we have coke products. I wanted hot coffee and my coworker wanted hot tea and she said we don’t have anything hot! That took us by surprise as I know she had to have been lying. So when she came back with my order which took like 7mins to make she was asked again about a drink menu and the hot tea and that is when she said we have hot tea. Needless to say the hot tea never made it to the table but we did get cold water that we didn’t ask for. The soup and my coworker’s main course came and as we were eating, the lady stopped and said we close at 21:45! Ummm what does that mean and it’s a table with other people there and you didn’t bother them one time since we sat down. Of course you all can guess the race. It was 9p when she says that and that’s when we decided it was time to hurry on and get done. My coworker told the waitress that the veggies in her food smelled and tasted badly. The woman looked at her took the plates and said so you’re not going to pay for this ? Instead of asking what did it smell and taste like, so that’s when I said NO SHE IS NOT! I was not pleased with how you just came at her and they way you and your other worker been treating us since we walked in. Not even our make coworker got a warm welcome when all he did was walk
to the bar and ask for change to leave you a tip because he wasn’t eating anything, and he was yelled at and told he couldn’t come to the bar! Like what is really going on? She took the plates and walked away. The checks came back and I told her I’d pay for them both and she took my card and left. The other lady finally came from the bar and assisted with the changing of a $20 so that a tip could be left by the guy who didn’t eat and I filled out the receipt, left my tip regardless and we left. We felt unappreciated and I just don’t believe that would happen again if it were daytime, but again who knows. It shouldn’t have happened period! My food was good despite it being $18 for a sampler plate and my soup was hot and delicious. My coworker ordered soup too but she doesn’t like cilantro but she took it out and she said it was like eating a sweet ketchup soup.

I cant wait to go back!!! The food is absolutely amazing! And my waitress poured my drink and had great on time conversation with each table after their meal I go out to dinner with my dad weekly and this place a YES. I saw so many people coming in to pick up food deliveries to go

Omg! I think this might be the winner for best Thai restaurant we have ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, and an excellent price for amazing fresh seafood! The crab in the crab fried rice and pad Thai is huge and delicious! Everything here is great! You will not be disappointed! Compliments to the chef and waitstaff! Keep up the excellent work! We have been here twice in the last 4 days!

We didn’t know they added 18% Gratuity with a party of 6 or more until leaving the establishment. I handed the waitress $30 in cash & she did not say anything about the gratuity already being included. I wish I read the receipt more thoroughly. Basically double tipped & then some…
Food is good but portions are rather small. They put the noodle dishes in a small bowl to make it look big & add a lot of bean sprouts.

We ordered take out and honestly, it was just really disapointing taste wise. Everything felt very inauthentic with very little flavor. Every item we ordered was boring and very expensive for the quality. We ended up throwing half away. We heard good things and expected the food to be way better. Maybe it was just a bad/unlucky day…

Best thai food restaurant in Maine and top thai restaurant in USA. Overall, the food was good. I had been a loyal customer for 11 years and the taste never change. I love to order kra thong tong, shrimp tom yum soup, tom kha. Pad see ew, pad kee mow, pineapple fried rice, etc. Their mango sticky rice also very good but only available depends on the mango season. The owner is very nice and most of the workers here are very welcoming. The taste similar to the food in Thailand. Very recommended to eat here. They have other locations but somehow the taste a little difference and I only like the one in South Portland.

Best Thai food in the South Portland/Westbrook area. I always order their Bah Mee seafood noodle soup. It’s outstanding, but I’ve enjoyed many other dishes, and they are as equally well prepared. My favorite go-to place for consistently good Thai food!

Great costumer service. The server are bilingual/ French. We felt like home when my family got to speak French with someone else other than home. She knew all the menus in her head. The food was well served. Delicious and good price. Very professional and welcoming. I will definitely come back when visiting Maine.

They really care about providing a quality experience here. The preparations are very creative and flavorful, the chef is an artist. Good vegetarian options but if you get the salads, you should tell them no meat or seafood. Thai iced tea was a wonderful dessert. Will definitely be back
