Delicious food, definitely worth the try. Not the biggest fan of the rice being ordered separate from the curry, but alas it’s alright. The food though? Amazing 100/10. The service is also amazing. Really big fan of this place and highly recommend it.

I was very disappointed with this place. The butter chicken tasted more like plain tomato soup, with no real Indian spices or depth of flavor. The butter naan was far from an authentic Indian naan.
The chicken biryani was just okay—not memorable—and the chicken was dry rather than juicy.
Service was acceptable, but the restaurant is extremely overpriced for what it offers. Portions are small, and you even have to order rice separately, with basmati rice starting at $10, which is unreasonable.
Overall, there is nothing special here to justify the prices. Beirut has many Indian restaurants that are far tastier and cost half as much.
Not recommended.

Authentic Indian Flavors in Beirut

I recently dined at Al Hindi and was impressed by the rich flavors of their dishes.

I tried the
– Boneless Tandoori was perfectly spiced and cooked, definitely my favorite
– Butter Chicken creamy and well balanced
– Shajkhani Korma is one of my favorites, tender and flavorful, though a bit on the sweeter side
– Beef Biryani very flavorful but could use more lamb chops
– Chicken Tikka Masala deep aromatic flavor
– Naan breads were absolutely delicious warm, soft, and the perfect side to every dish
– Samosas and spring rolls were average, not bad, but not standout either
– Mango Lassi had more of a frozen yogurt mango flavor, refreshing, but different from the traditional taste

As for the desserts, I tried the Gulab Jamon and the Gajar Halwa they were just okay.

Overall, a satisfying experience if you’re craving Indian food in Beirut. Definitely worth a visit for the mains, naan, and vibrant flavors.

Not worth it.. Ihave ordered chicken biryani worth for $ 13.20. no salt. Few chicken pieces. And small quantity . High prices. No quality meal. No salad no raita.. nothing… Purely cheating. Never order again.

First time at AL HINDI and wow where do I even begin! I tasted real Indian food by Indian people 5 years ago, so I know exactly how it’s supposed to taste and honestly I was worried that AL HINDI here in Lebanon wouldn’t get it right. But from the second I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. Mr. Mohammed greeted us so warmly and Ahmad took care of our table like a pro. The vibes were amazing, I loved the Indian music playing and the whole design of the place was sooo nice.

I went all out and ordered Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, sag paneer, vegetable korma, tandoori chicken, garlic naan and cheese garlic naan. Yes, I was hungry . Some dishes had slightly different names on the menu but they happily customized my order exactly how I wanted it.

The food was beyond my expectations. Honestly, I REALLY REALLY ENJOYED every bite. The taste, the flavors, the texture, everything was on point. It’s not a super cheap place, actually a bit above average pricing, but totally worth it for the quality you’re getting.

If you’re into Indian food, seriously trust me and try this spot. They know what they’re doing and nail every dish perfectly. I’m already planning my next visit!

Overly priced restaurant, small portion size, average taste, okayish customer service with good environment.

Not recommended at all!

Al Hindi is undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in Lebanon, if not the very best. It was my first time enjoying a full, authentic Indian dinner in Lebanon, and the experience was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning soon.

The place is beautiful, quiet and the decor is warm and Indian par excellence, you feel like you are in one of the Indian restaurants. The workers in the place are excellent, all the time taking care of the details of the table and looking at the customer if they needs anything, smiling all the time as well . The food is 7/10, everything was good, the taste, the quality and the presentation of the plates! I can recommend to improve the appetizers menu, there is alot more to add.
