The crispy chicken was terrible. It was almost rock hard and had the texture of someone blasting in the microwave too long. The sweet potato fries were mushy and tasted like they weren’t cooked fully.
The service was quick but rude. Staff seemed like we were interrupting them on a slow Thursday afternoon. The majority of the tables had empty baskets on them from not being cleaned or they had been cleaned and still had remnants of sauce and food bits everywhere. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.

Today my family visited this place and like many of the reviews on here we got horrible service- my chicken bacon avocado sandwich was literally smashed and the others were also thrown together. I asked them to remake and the two cooks cussed at me and the man working up front said that’s how they look. Also they were wearing masked but touching their faces and that’s so gross and coughing and not changing mask or gloves. The food looked like it had been put in a blender. He offered a refund once the lady cook cussed me out but I just didn’t want to wait in that environment, especially when everyone feels so entitled to be full of hate lately. So I decided to leave to not further escalate. We love Smashburger and have been to great ones in Arizona. This was sub-par- McDonald’s does better. And it was 67$ that I literally had to throw in trash. I know these reviews mean squat to staff and management but I would like my money back to enjoy at a more reputable smash burger and for other people to reconsider going to this place. Sad to see workers be so disrespectful and not care about the quality of their work or image.

Great food. All sorts of burgers with a bit of everything for your enjoyment. Good pricing. Freshly made right there. Not your typical fast food, but this is food that’s made fast for a quick eat. Plus great fries and different sides that make your dining experience even better. Always great staff to take your order, and always great cooks working hard to make you an enjoyable meal. Come in and enjoy what you order. That’s what it’s all about.

Food was decent, service was okay but only 3 stars since the wait time was excessive. They weren’t that busy and it took 20 minutes to get us 3 sandwiches. I might go back if I’m not in a hurry to eat and go. I got the Spicy Jalapeno Baja burger which was good but wasn’t as juicy as their logo made it sound. It was good for $3 after coupon.

Initially loved the food and the service when Smash Burger moved into the area. Service stayed top notch but food quality went down after the first two years. Bugers got greasier and began to look crushed onto the bun as if made in haste. Fries began to taste overly oiled and just added to the greasy sense to the meal. Had the sense the staff were under too much pressure as they worked hard but everything became humdrum routine in attitude.

This place ROCKS! I have never been to a Smashburger before today, and I will be back! One, the food is beyond bomb. So. Freaking. Good. Two, the service is beyond anything that I have ever experienced. Joseph and the rest of the team were quick, friendly, and made the whole experience a delight. Three, the service was prompt and our food came out within minutes. All together, I could not be happier with our dinner decision!

It was my first time there, which I mentioned. I ordered a smash burger and a chocolate malt, which they charged me $11.72. Way out of line. The burger was so greasy I didn’t eat it, the malt was fine. I know I was ripped off for inedible food. Never again and I have told my friends. You need a new manager and responsible employees at Southdale.

I’m a smashburger fan, love the food. Recently I was here, made my order, burger with fries and a shake but I had a coupon for a free entree. and when the tray was delivered my fries were not there, just the burger. I asked where my fries were, we looked at the receipt and noticed the order taker did not even put the fries on there. The server apologized and brought me out a free order of fries.

This was our first time trying Smashburger. We ordered our food, and swiped our card. It made the beeping sound and said “approved”. Something must have messed up on their end, and the young lady running the register began arguing over whether we swiped it or not. She stood there not saying anything for a few minutes, then eventually went to find a manager. The manager came and did something and said we were fine. We went to fill up our drinks and the girl from before came up and practically shoved our receipt at us without saying anything. We kept our mouths shut and sat down. A different person brought our food out to us, and the orders were messed up. At this point we just decided to suck it up and deal with it. Save your time and money and just go to Q’doba next door instead.
