I was fortunate to discover this place in April 2025 when I was passing through Cleveland. The menu features a good selection of Eastern European food, and the prices are reasonable. My waitress was very friendly and helpful in describing some of the menu choices.

This was our first time here and it is a very nice, as well as quaint, restaraunt. We went with my brother and girlfriend, as they introduced us to the place that they really enjoyed. It was a really nice time and good, homemade food.
A very kind and family owned restaurant, they make you feel very welcomed and are attentive to your orders, as well as suggesting different dishes.
Unique dishes are created and very tasty.

A very nice and welcoming restaurant in Cleveland with some amazing food options. Traditional East European cuisine served in a very homey style with delicious offerings. The place has an old town vibe with a piano placement in the corner and although the seating is not very comfortable the single server keeps running around and does some real good work in quick yet engaging conversations. They have specials for every day and you can’t go wrong with some of the best tasting dumplings that they have on the sides.

Amazing place to get dinner especially if you’re looking for European food. The place is warm and welcoming and all the food is homemade and delicious. I had the stuffed cabbage with dumplings and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. The service was fast and friendly. The pie for dessert was outstanding and the crust was buttery and melted in your mouth. Highly recommended.

The best beef goulash I have ever had in my life. Beautiful, but an assuming restaurant with croatian and czechoslovakian pictures. Much attention provided by the staff. The dumplings are righteous.

This was my first visit here. Ihave a huge serving of weiner Schnitzel with potato dumplings. Beyond excellent!! Salad was very fresh and nice. Staff was as attentive as you could ask for. My picky grandkids ate everything! So did the vegetarians among us. One caveat. Thecrestayrant us not handicapped accessible. We could wheel a chair in through the kitchen to get in but bathrooms were too small for even a walker, no rails beside the toilets. Don’t even try the bathrooms–you could get hurt. Suggest railings be added to the walls outside the cubicles and inside them so someone with a cane could manage with no walker. A cheap fix–railings. Loved the place!

I stopped in here today for the first time to get dinner to go. The woman who waited on me was very friendly and told me a bit of the restaurant’s history. I ordered the stuffed peppers special that came with two peppers (one red, one yellow), a salad with house dressing, and bread. I also ordered dumplings. Everything was delicious! I may stop in tomorrow for the stuffed cabbage. Definitely recommend.

OH BOY, you are in for a treat at Marie’s. The smell of the place, the atmosphere, the decor, its pure nostalgia… perhaps it reminds me of a church basement, or my grandma’s house. I can’t place my finger quite on it.
The food, ✨PURE under seasoned BLISS ✨ takes me right back to my roots. Right back to my childhood. Comforting. So familiar.

This place is authentic and exactly what you want. From the peeling plaster ceiling to the $2 side salad with the best house dressing on the planet. Amazing goulash that rivals what I’ve had in Europe. Awesome Croatian beer that could be the best pilsner I’ve ever had. All wrapped up in an affordable price with amazing service. So good dont pass this place up.
