Very solid small donut spot. If you park off Lyndale you can’t see the entrance very well. But just walk down past the Great Bear Center arch down on the left side. Totally worth it.

My boys and I love going to Sunrise donuts! My 4 year old only wants to get his donuts from here. It’s so fun to take them and let them pick out their donut. The owner is so nice and friendly. Always happy to be there. For my son’s birthday I asked if we could put in a larger order for him to bring to school for his friends, they were able to do that and have it sitting aside ready for me. Amazing service and donuts are so so good.

They’re open early which suits if I need something to bring to work. Note that their door is just around the corner from Paw Spa. It’s easy to miss.
I have not tried their cake donuts, yet, though I really love the airy texture of the originals. I bought a half-dozen to celebrate someone’s retirement today. I also grabbed an unfilled maple donut for myself during the commute to work. I tend to avoid sugar (especially in the morning), but these are not overly sweet like a lot of places that will bake novelty items. I will definitely be coming back for more!

I had high hopes for Sunrise Donuts as I believed the reviews that said it was a hidden gem. It was not. Besides an incredibly friendly employee, I have little good to say. I bought three donuts and it cost shy of eight dollars. They were dry and flaky. I decided to take my daughters here over going to Kwik Trip, and I regretted it. Gas station donuts are far superior to the experience I had here. I knew choices would be limited because I got there around 9:30 in the morning, but there was still an entire top rack of donuts. We sat at a booth to eat. It was kind of gross, and I live with toddlers. The walls are smeared with mystery substances or long gone donut fillings. The restroom that I popped into to wet a napkin to clean up my kids and the table was straight out of a roadside horror movie. I’m upset Google recommended I go here upon searching donuts in Burnsville.

I sought to personally evaluate the widely discussed pastries. Despite initial difficulty in locating the establishment due to an inaccurate GPS navigation, I eventually found it. The donuts are freshly baked each day, ensuring their utmost quality. However, it is essential to arrive early in the morning to secure the best selection. I recommend trying the apple fritter for a truly exceptional experience.

Absolutely delicious donuts, always fresh, warm, and good variety. To top it off, the gentleman who works in the morning is always very friendly and helpful. The only downside to how good this place is: they sell out too early for me to make in time on the weekends.

Best place to get donuts in Bloomington! I come in 4-5 times a month, and it never disappoints. Classic glazed and blueberry are must-haves. Highly recommend checking it out, plus the owner/guy working the counter is so nice.

This may just be the best kept secret donut shop ever ! The donuts are still slightly warm and the crisp crunch of the glaze is mouth watering . 10/10 I would recommend.

I bring my kids here most Fridays. Paul, the owner, is very friendly. The donuts are the best value for your money in the area. They will sell out if you wait too late in the morning. I highly recommend supporting this small business!

Glazed, chocolate and sugar donuts all are awesome, small shop but has seating space, enough parking, served with a smile, donuts are tasty and buttery than Dunkin’s or Krispy Kreme. Totally Recommended, I am not Giving 5 star because my experience was dented when they did not had boxes to pack donuts. Although this is a 5 star place.
