Great place, tasty food and many options to pick, great service, a whole awesome vibe!
We came as a group of 8 and everything was perfect, no mistakes in order and they reorganized the tables to fit our team.
TBH was worried about rudeness from the waiters as the reviews here said but nothing was rude at all, very nice and helpful waiter! Recommended for us dishes and explained questions we had.

We stopped in to the Tavern yesterday for lunch while on vacation and the entire experience was great! Gabby and Amber were fantastic. Our wings were perfectly cooked and they had several sauces to choose from. The sauces we sampled were good! The place was clean and well maintained. They have lots of seating and a great bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be stopping back next time we’re in town!

Definitely a dive feel to the place, as if you were walking into “The Alibi Room” from Shameless, but the service was great, and the food was perfect. Burger was delicious, and chicken teddies were fried to perfection. Cold beer, and the crew appeared to actually enjoy being there with each other. Will definitely visit again as a passerby in NY since they made these strangers feel so at home.
PS: we checked out this place and the mustand next door.. this place was packed and the mustang was EMPTY. that should say it all….

Stopped in for lunch while my dad was at the dentist.
Great selection of beers, nice variety of food across the menu. Cozy family atmosphere and fantastic staff. Felt like home.
Will definitely be coming back when in town! Will bring my pup along too! (they’re dog friendly )

I stayed at the Microtel which is literally right next to the Tavern. I’m not the bar type anymore but I did happen to order my food here and it was outstanding. Much better than I had even anticipated. I was so happy with the food I bought the first night. That I ordered several more meal over then span of my stay. The pizza was phenomenal and the chicken wings were too! I also ordered a haddock sandwich and my wife a chicken cordon blue and I was just as happy with them.

Had a quick dinner here. The food was good Tavern- Bar food sandwiches, Burgers ect. People and Staff were friendly. Nice atmosphere pool table and darts. Great local place.

I have never written a review but the service I had today was ATROCIOUS. Went in and ordered food with my boyfriend while he was on his lunch break. We waited half an hour for what was supposed to be Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites and a burger but ended up having to get it to go because it took so long. When I got home I found what I expected to be Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites were actually a deep fried batter of some sort which was raw on the inside. I called and asked if I could bring it back for a refund and the woman on the phone said she had to ask the bartender she was working with if she was allowed to issue me a refund. I could hear the bartender in the background arguing about how what they gave me was in fact Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites. When I went in someone I assume was the cook started asking what exactly was wrong with it but when I told her it was raw I was cut off by the bartender who then told me to go see the woman behind the bar for my refund.
My boyfriend called me shortly after to tell me that when he bit into his burger it was raw and inedible as well. When he got out of work we headed back to the restaurant to get the refund for his burger. When we arrived we were met with the owner and when I explained our experience I was told “well we can throw the burger back on the grill.” I said “no, id just like my refund as I’ve already had to have the other half of the order refunded for also being raw.” Her response? A very flippant “okay” and then she sat back down to eat and ignore us.
We had really hoped to find a new date spot but unfortunately will not be returning. The lack of consideration for the health of people who eat here is deeply disappointing and concerning.

The service was outstanding! The food varied. The burgers and haddock strips were great. The nachos and beer cheese pretzels are made with Velveeta like melted cheese

The Tavern was a nice break from the breweries in the area. Offered your genuine bar vibes and activities which I enjoyed while I drank. Offers two pool tables($1.25 pp), darts($) and table shuffleboard(free). Drinks were reasonably priced and had a lot of bottles/cans and your usual on draft.
