Absolutely love this place. They did not disappoint at all. Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is great.. Definitely on my top 10 places to now eat. Everything on the menu sounds soo good and looks so good. I got a Ruben and my boyfriend the bbq dinner with Mac & cheese n corn bread. Fantastic all around we also tried the cheese bacon ball things i forget the exact name but so yummy. Cant wait to go back..went back got Cajun chicken pasta, my daughter got Mac & cheese and side of fries and I got the bbq pulled pork all was fantastic. For app we got fried pickles and burnt ends. Both fantastic as well. Absolutely love this place

We’ve driven by this place a bunch of times and have had it on our list for months. So today was the day and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing. We had the firecracker shrimp and burnt ends as appetizers and I had the brisket, Mac n Cheese and my husband had the Shirt ribs Pot pie. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was attentive but not hovering. There were so many great items on the menu it was hard to decide. Definitely going back to try other things.

I paid over $40 for 2 burgers to go, one medium and the other medium rare. I got home and there was no indication which was medium and which was medium rare––but it didn’t matter because both were rare to medium rare. The fries looked like they scraped the last few broken ones from the bottom of the bin. Very disappointing.

Great burgers and fries! The tap choices were also tasty, we tried the donut cider, and one of the local beers. There both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff were all really pleasant.

BE AWARE THEY ADD A GRATUITY AUTOMATICALLY FOR CERTAIN SIZED GROUPS AND THIS IS NOT MENTIONED ON THE MENU ANYWHERE.
It’s mediocre at best. Beer selection is acceptable, but not what you expect when they have “tap” in the name. $27 poke bowl should tell you everything you need to know about how overpriced the food is. Service is slow. Atmosphere is nice though.

I specifically came for the wings, which my boyfriend, but I changed my mind and got the reuben. We were both super happy with everything. The ambiance is super relaxing, and the staff was also just as great as the food. Our server, Elaine, was wonderful. Definitely coming back.

The Local has a great atmosphere, has great servers and the food is consistently good! We’ve had Charles as our waiter two times now and even our 12 year old son during our most recent visit, kept saying he’s the best waiter he’s ever had. He is such an asset to your establishment. The food comes out fast, hot and almost anything you order on the menu will be good. You can just tell the owner of The Local takes pride in their restaurant. We live in Ludlow and The Local is always our go-to spot, check it out!!!

A story of two tales. My GF and I Went here for brunch. I got eggs, hash browns, and brisket with a Bloody Mary. Everything was cooked perfect, brisket was awesome. I’d give my meal 5 Stars
Now my GF got Eggs Benny with home fries, and mimosa. The eggs Benny was good. The Home Fries were really bad, they were hard as a rock. (Also noticed a table next to us with a bowl of them still full) the mimosa was served in a champagne flute (toasting glass). So it was literally 4 sips of drink for $9. She gave her meal a 2 star review.
So if we could give it 3 1/2 stars we would. IF they fix the home fry issue and the serving size of mimosa to a bigger wine glass. I would have given it a 5 star.

The haddock was flavored well and quite delicious however, the batter fell off to easily. The Conversation was easy to have taking into consideration the music wasn’t to loud & a great playlist. Our server Juliana was polite and very nice. Def a do again

Had the smash burger. Freaking amazing. Waitress was attentive but not hovering. Atmosphere was family friendly but not overly so. Definitely had sections where kids were NOT seated. Will 100% be coming back and I’m almost 40 minutes away.
