Just 2 appetizers!!! This is the only Korean restaurant that I have ever tried in the world has just 2 appetizers offered only. The server knew we are first time here, I order the marinated beef with glass noodle (stir fried), it turn out beef glass noodle in soup with super heavy MSG, the server just said “I can’t help”. Ginseng Chicken Soup but can’t find any Ginseng, not even a small slice. Quite pricy compare to our neighborhood. You will have more choices in other Korean restaurants.

Love the authentic Korean food, service and atmosphere there!! How many Korean restaurant out there dare to serve their beef soup without seasoning it? Unless they are extremely confident about their quality of food, just like Traditional Beef Soup Restaurant!!!
You get to decide how much salt you want to put into your soup, trust me, if you don’t put enough salt, you might think the soup is bland and the flavor won’t be there! It’s important to put enough salt to bring the truth taste to another level!!
We ordered the steamed homemade dumplings and that’s delicious as well.
Not to mention their homemade ban chan (Kimchee)!! The bomb !!! fresh and crunchy with a kick of spicy!!
I have to buy two small size container ban chan home and yes, even my Korean boyfriend said that’s legit ban chan!
I saw someone’s post about this restaurant, that person gave 2 stars only and mentioning about the dishes that she ordered has a lot of msg, I don’t really feel bad for her as obviously she didn’t order what this restaurant is known for! Duh, traditional beef soup!! She also mentioned about only two side dishes, to me, that is a authentic Korean beef soup restaurant and I don’t think they should have ten different side dishes…that just going to mess up your taste bug!
I do want to make a disclaimer though, I am just a regular customer and not bias about anyone or anything! I am just a big foodie!
2/24/2024, Come back again for their Seolleong Tang with my boyfriend’s sister and niece. Saturday late lunch after 1:00pm, not crowded at all, as soon as we walk in, got seated right away! We ordered three Seolleong Tang with flank meat, mixed meat and tongue, steamed mundo and rice cake and dumpling soup. It’s my bf’s sister and niece first time trying this restaurant and they loved the food! The soup has great flavor, eat it with their Kim chee and radish ban Chan helps enhance the flavor to a different level. I would love to ask everyone who has not try yet to give it a try! You will find it very satisfying! Especially during rainy stormy day!!
To owner and his family, please keep up the excellent job and I will be back soon!!

This is the place if you want to enjoy authentic Seolleongtang, the Korean ox bone soup in the area North of Seattle. The place is mostly frequented by Korean people which is always a good sign. We had of course the Seollongtang, and also Yukgaejang another traditional Korean stew and it was delicious, just what we needed on a cold day in February. It comes with purple rice, fermented daikon and kimchi as a side, which are pretty good, too. Salt and pepper are at the table so you can adjust your Seolleongtang to your taste.
Ask to get some sweet mocha from the machine in the store, it’s a delicious treat after the meal.

We tried this restaurant for its Korean traditional soups, and while the flavors were good and authentic, they didn’t quite align with our personal taste preferences. The bibimbap was decent but nothing extraordinary. If you’re a fan of Korean soups, it might be worth trying, but it wasn’t the right fit for us overall.

I usually never leave bad reviews but I felt like I was scammed . I ordered a tofu stew with (seafood ) i got a couple mini clums with spicy hot water and bunch of tofu . Usually at least I get shrimp and octopus in any other places i visited in seattle . Without forgetting the fact that they only offer 2 appetisers kimchi and radish . I don’t know if it’s bad management or greediness. Hope they will improve they have a nice service and a clean place but food is just a no .

This is a great, small hole in the wall restaurant for traditional Korean soups and dishes.
Besides the signature Bone Broth soup (your choice of meats), they also have bibimbap and, best of all, handmade pork and chive dumplings! The banchan (kimchi and ggakdeuggi) are fresh.
The staff are nice but can get busy when full, so have some patience. Bonus: free barley tea.

Loved the beef noodle soup! Lots of meat and the flavor is good. My boyfriend enjoyed the bulgogi. Overall good price for the food and portions.

Best Korean beef soup in town made with real ingredients!
Their handmade dumplings are so big and juicy, excellent steamed or in soup!
You can’t find kimchi this good anywhere else, it simply is the best!

Ordered knee cartilage of bone soup, handmade dumplings, spicy beef soup, and mixed meat plate. Portions are smaller than average so dishes seem more expensive by comparison. However this is about quality over quantity, as everything they make here is top tier. Definitely recommend the dumplings and the ox bone soup.
