Hello, I am very frustrated with my recent visit to Cold Stone Creamery. I visited on October 14th, around 1 pm. The ice cream on display was extremely rock solid! Not to mention, I waited for an additional 6-7 minutes for the older white lady to take my order, but she was too busy cleaning. I wonder what she was cleaning because the place still seemed dirty. When I finally ordered my chocolate devotion, which was a love it size. It cost me 10 dollars! FOR A MEDIUM ICECREAM?!?! This establishment is just taking advantage of me, and I will not return. If you want quality ice cream, go to the Rita’s by Meadrowridge in Elkridge. This place is terrible!

Stopped here one evening and had one of the most disappointing experiences. Vulgar music blaring, the teens behind to counter chatting up with their friends meanwhile the line is to the door. Not a manager in sight. The worst part of all was how absolutely filthy the shop was. The ice cream case was dirty, all the flavors and been mixed; cotton candy flavor in the chocolate and such. Some of the frozen treats even appeared to be melted. The floor was sticky in some parts. It just seemed really dirty and very poorly managed.

I love cold stone creamery but today our experience wasn’t very good in this particular branch.
1. Crowded and wasn’t organized well due to which we had to wait for a long time. There were 3 people and only one of the lady was kind friendly and helpful. Others weren’t interested in helping others and didn’t care about the long queues. Never happened at any other cold stone.
2. Waffle bowl was soft instead of crunchy.

I went for the first time. I absolutely love Cold Stone Creamery! Their ice cream is incredibly creamy, and I love being able to mix in my favorite toppings. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s my go-to place for a sweet treat.

Amazing place, in comparison to other cold stones, there are many flavours of ice cream to choose from. They let us taste multiple flavours. The staff was very friendly, I’ve seen multiple people rush them, but they were able to handle it really well.
The cakes were of great taste too.
Kudos to the new owners for maintaining better hygiene than before.

I’ve been going to this coldstone for the past 2 years and this has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The two employees in this picture should be fired. There was no order in this store whatsoever. I had been waiting for someone to take my order after 10 minutes. If the line was long I would understand but it was not. Instead the young lady is talking to and making her friend’s order who are walking in. There are other people who are waiting behind me and when I asked if she could take my order she directed me to the young man. When I asked for their names they refused. I will be calling tomorrow to report this behavior as well.

I recently ordered a custom cake from Cold Stone Creamery and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. I had specifically requested a French vanilla ice cream cake with caramel and Oreos inside, and a fudge ganache on the outside. However, what I received was far from what I ordered.
The cake I picked up had a plain inside with yellow cake, and the outside was covered in regular icing instead of the fudge ganache I requested. This completely ruined the cake I had planned for a special occasion.
Attention to detail and delivering on customer requests are fundamental for any business, especially one known for its customized treats. Unfortunately, Cold Stone failed to meet these basic expectations. I hope they take steps to improve their order accuracy and customer service in the future.
I would advise others to double-check their orders carefully before leaving the store to avoid the same disappointment I experienced.
Update: As of 6/25/2024 I have not heard anything from the email alias they provided under my comment. I emailed them on 6/15/2024 about the problem. I will NEVER do business with them again.

Ordered a custom love it with vanilla ice cream and rainbow sprinkles, a love it peanut butter cup perfection and love it somewhere over the rain dough and got every single thing wrong. Wrong size and 2 plain chocolate and 1 plain vanilla ice cream. Not a single thing right about the order. Unreal.
Update: customer support wanted me to reach out, they advised the manager would call me. It’s been two weeks and nothing. Over $70 on cold stone recently for wrong orders and nothing done to make it right.

This is the worst Cold Stone we’ve been to as far as the price and portions.
We ordered a kids cup with gummy bears and marshmallows. The scoop was small, and the lady put back some of the ice cream she initially scooped. She added exactly 5 gummy bears and about 5 marshmallows.
When I asked, the lady said that was the amount of toppings for kids cups. But the $1.29 fee for an additional mix-in is the same for all sizes, so at least one of the toppings could have been less skimpy. I mean a whole bag of marshmallows is on sale at Giant for $1.66 right now, so I guess next time we’ll just buy and make our own.
The lady serving us was kind and sweet. I’ve just never seen someone skimp so much on the ingredients at the other locations in the area. The one in Savage off of Route 1 even offered coloring sheets for the kids to color then bring back to get a FREE ice cream next time.
