Dined with my family here on Sunday night. You can order via tablet at each table or pick up a menu you want from the conveyor belt. Food quality was ok. Especially meet and seafood were not at its highest quality and tasted like they were defrosted. I liked that there are so many vegetable options and you can choose and chage your soup base to try different things.

Service was ok. Since all orders are requested via tablet, there was no designated server. Whoever was available came first, but none of them were asking if everything is ok or checking up on us. I wish I could give 15% tip but was not the option in the tablet.

Atmosphere is pretty fancy. It’s at the heart of mosaic district. All the seats are surrounding the main conveyor belt with food options and there is a self service bar with variety of sauce and utensils.

Overall, worth trying once but with $35 per person, you can get better quality meal from other places. I would not go back here again.

The food is delicious, and the ingredients are fresh and clean. Because the restaurant isn’t very large, you might have to wait an hour if you go on the weekend, but that’s not a big problem. The beef here is especially delicious.

Great all-you-can-eat menu. Have been here many times and have not been disappointed. You can order food here through iPads and there is an area to get sauces. There is a 90-minute time limit per group, but it is fair because of other people waiting.

Me and my daughter have been to plenty of hot pot restaurants, and this is in the top few. When we first walked in, there was plenty of seating for waiting and we were seated at our table in under 10 minutes. The ordering process is simple, you click on what you want on a tablet, and it is delivered to you. Each order is one portion, so if you are there with multiple people, keep in mind you might need more. Our drinks were delivered via robot waiter, which was a nice touch. We ordered a couple of rounds of additions to our broth, each of which were fresh and delicious. They have a great sauce bar with plenty of options for everybody. Overall recommend!

Love Urban Hot Pot. For approximately $35/person for all you can eat dinner (and I think roughly $25/ person for lunch), can’t beat that price!

Service is okay… you don’t really interact with staff except for being sat, staff who bring the food out, and getting your check. But with AYCE, that’s kinda understood, else, they’d be running crazily around the restaurant.

After visiting the sauce bar, where there are recipes for popular sauces (or choose your own adventure and build your own), dinner consisted of 6 friends sitting around the table, each with their own pots that ranged in spice level, as well as one gluten free (which is great the Urban Hot Pot has those options).

It was family style when it came to the noodles and meats and vegetables. All in the middle and everyone grabbed what they want.

It’s worth at least just giving it a try, especially for the price! But make sure your entire part arrives around the same time to be sat!

Service was great, the waitress knew all the menu items and reminded us of what food we ordered. Ambiance was nice and the playlist was great music. You can make your own sauce and own hot pot and cook it in front of you. The menu consist of meat, veggies, rice, noodles, and dessert. I had the jelly with brown sugar as dessert.

First time trying this hot pot.
We’ve been to numerous similar places all over US and this one was the worst.
The food was mediocre ie tasteless and very small portions. So we had to keep ordering which took away from enjoying the food.

We thought it was the broth at first but even the meats and seafood didn’t have much flavour, though cooked in the broth.
Also all the utensils by the sauce bar were sticky & there were some white bowls that were all sticky too.

We had to pay $17 for 1 bowl of rice for our 6 yr old kid, which was annoying.

Don’t think we’ll go there again as there are many other better options in the area.

Amazing hot-pot buffet! Great selection of meat, seafood, and other unique foods. If you are paying for dinner, then there are some special dishes you can try. There are some cooked foods you can try like saliva chicken, or garlic shrimp. There are a lot of hot-pot bases you can try. Also, if you’re trying to go during dinner time, I suggest making a reservation unless you don’t mind waiting 30 minutes to an hour. There is also a 90 minute dining limit which wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall, the 30+ dollars you spend are worth it.

It was an interesting restaurant.
You order a soup stock, meat, seafood and veggies on the tablet as many as you want within 90min.
They have many dipping sauces as well which is a very nice addition as you can make your own.
You do all the cooking at your table in your own hotpot which is really nice as you can potentially have several different flavors at one time.
We got both healthy herbal and hot spice soup stock.
They have a revolving counter like sushi restaurants but they did not use it when we went there which might be because there was no sushi being ordered or it is for dinner use only.
The meat we ordered was a little hard which might be because they are frozen when they are cut to make the thin slices easier. All the vegetables were very fresh, but you come here for the meats.
Drinks and desserts are delivered by a robot, who seem to have a bad day saying “I am leaving now” but he works hard so we cannot say he is a bad server. The other servers were very fast and friendly keeping the restaurant very clean and tidy so you don’t have hundreds of plates sitting on your table.
Each dish is small so you can try a lot of different types of meat and vegetables which is a huge plus.
The concept of the restaurant is unique and entertaining and we recommend going there to see for yourself.

Whoever gives this place less than 5 stars is on crack.
Best halal hot pot on the east coast. Price may seem steep but if you were to buy the ingredients from H Mart (produce) and the halal lamb from any halal butcher it would total out to a lot more. Incredible place.
