Very tasty food with *very* generous portions. We came just before closing time, but they were gracious and accommodating. The food came very quickly (we were the only ones there that late, to be fair). I would say based on the portion size, it was practically enough for two meals so it was a good value.

I went here with a group a friends a while back. Was very quiet and empty which was nice. It took a while to get our food despite the restaurant being almost empty, and server seemed to be having an off day. I’m pretty picky with my food, so I ordered chicken strips and they were probably some of the best I’ve had! My friends said their food was pretty good too! It also took 5 minutes to pay for my food which I’m not sure why. I’ll probably end up coming back to have those chicken strips again

Bertha was amazing! She had a smile that could brighten a cloudy day. She was friendly and great at customer service. The beer I ordered was ice cold. Very clean establishment. I’ll be coming back soon.

This place was recommended to me by a long time resident. It was one of the worst Mexican restaurants, if not the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I live in San Diego CA so I know what Mexican food should taste like and how it should be prepared. Food was overpriced. After trying to be charged me over $60, I modified my order and got it down to $38. $25 for a carne asada burrito, what? That’s crazy! And it was filled with cold rice and refried beans. No pico or cheese. The meat was overcooked and dry. The tortilla was chewy. I asked for a cheese quesadilla and received a tortilla that was chewy. The edges were dried out. And it was a taco sized tortilla. Quesadilla was put on a plate with cold Spanish rice and refried beans, which I didn’t ask for! When I walked in and ordered I was told it would be about 10 minutes. I waited just over 30 minutes to get this very disappointed meal that I took home only about 5 minutes away. I don’t understand how this place is in business!

Ordered me and my dad lunch today. My quesadilla was good. He got a 2 enchilada meal the enchiladas were plain ground beef wrapped in a corn tortilla w cheese on top. I dont complain usually but enchiladas are supposed to have enchiladas sauce in them or on top neither here. 30 bucks for a chicken quesadilla and 2 enchiladas w rice amd beans, not bad but he didnt eat most of it was tortilla wrapped plain beef. Probably not going back.

Small town but good. Food. We got the chorizo tacos and shredded beef enchilada and taco. The chorizo was decent but the shredded beef was absolutely amazing. We got two verging strawberry margaritas and 2 shots of Jhornito reposado tequila shots. Total with tip was about $71

Cute place. Because of the benches they are not connected to the wall but extremely comfortable.

The staff was kind and very friendly!

We enjoyed the ambiance, food and drinks. If I find myself in this town again I’ll be back

We come here pretty often, its one of the places that is local and open a little later and we love that. My boyfriend LOVES the taquitos and i love the pork verde plate. Their mexican cream sauce is like nothing we’ve had its so good. The waitress is so stinkin sweet and the food is excellent.

I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 4 years and the food has always been pretty good however, they have recently discontinued their lunch specials and their senior menu, while their prices are going up and their credit card charge went from $.50 to $.95. The basket of chips that they give you is pretty small comparable to most mexican restaurants, and you’re only allowed one basket for 3 people, which literally there’s about five chips for each person and if you want a second basket, it’s another $2.25. I understand that food prices are going up and I don’t mind paying a fair price but it seems that this place is nickel and diming you.

What great place! A short drive over a beautiful WPA bridge, the service is friendly and our chicken enchilada special was delicious. It’s quiet too which I really needed after being in the car for 5 hours.
