Would recommend if you’re in the area.
The food was outstanding. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended if you’re in the Lynnwood area and craving a true taste of Korean comfort food!
If you’re craving Korean stir-fry or fried chicken, Dawa is definitely worth a visit. I’m giving this place 4 out of 5 stars.
Ambiance: 4/5
The restaurant has a casual and cozy atmosphere, perfect for small group gatherings or a casual meal out. It’s a comfortable space with warm lighting, though nothing especially unique in terms of decor.
Authenticity: 4/5
The flavors are bold and true to Korean comfort food. Their K-style fried chicken is a customer favorite, and though I didn’t get to try it this time, it’s definitely on my list for next visit. The dishes feel home-style with a good representation of classic Korean flavors.
Flavor: 4/5
Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. The mixed tofu soup, while comforting, leaned a little too salty and surprisingly didn’t include an egg, which is typically standard for that dish. Protein portions in the other dishes felt a bit on the lighter side, but overall taste was satisfying.
Cost: 4/5
The prices are fair for a Korean restaurant in this area. However, with the smaller protein portions, it didn’t feel like the best value for what you pay.
Service: 4/5
Staff was friendly and food came out at a reasonable pace. No major complaints, but there’s room for improvement in attentiveness and checking in with diners mid-meal.
Final Verdict: 4/5
Dawa is a solid Korean spot with flavorful dishes and a relaxed vibe. While there were a few small misses, I’ll definitely be back—especially to try their famous fried chicken next time. Great place for groups or casual dining with friends.
Been here for more than 10 times
They made the best chicken feet!
I’m begging you, don’t come here Everything was so bland I honestly thought I lost my sense of taste. Like… how does food taste like nothing?! No seasoning, no flavor, NOTHING. It was actually kind of depressing to eat. I kept taking bites hoping it would get better and even ask for bean paste but it didn’t get better. Save your money and your mood.
I stopped by Dawa Lynwood on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff were super friendly and welcoming — they made me feel right at home. The place has a clean, cozy vibe with that perfect mix of casual and modern that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your food slowly.
Now, the chicken… absolutely incredible. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside — it’s everything you want Korean fried chicken to be. You can tell they fry it fresh to order. I tried the soy garlic and the spicy gochujang flavors, and both were spot-on. The soy garlic had that sweet-savory balance that keeps you going back for more, and the spicy one had just the right kick without being overwhelming.
Their sides were great too — I got the pickled radish (super refreshing), some fries, and a cold beer. Everything complemented the chicken perfectly. It’s the kind of meal that makes you stop talking for a minute because you just want to enjoy every bite.
What I really love about Dawa Lynwood is that it feels authentic but still approachable. You can tell they put care into everything — from the seasoning to the service. I’ve been back a few times already, and the quality is always consistent.
If you’re craving Korean fried chicken or just want something that hits that comfort-food sweet spot, Dawa Lynwood is the place. Totally worth the drive, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.
Ordered the following:
1. D4 fried chicken (1/2 spicy, 1/2 plain) which had an amazing breading with tender/juicy chicken.
2. Cheese corn – exactly as it sounds like and did not disappoint
3. Seafood fish pancake – great selection of veggies and fish. Crispy and with a great seafood flavor.
Also had a complementary rice wine tasting (grape) which brought the whole meal together.
Will definitely be coming back!
