Definitely a good choice for all you can eat. The size of dishes is good enough to have, the choices are great for all you can eat restaurants. We like the winter Sukiyaki! The amount is good value. $50.95 per person in weekdays.

You get what you paid for If you’re looking for a Japanese AYCE with decent quality and price – this is the place. Fresh ingredients with plenty of options, highly recommend trying their enoku mushroom wrapped with meat dish! Beef Tataki wasn’t too bad as well, croquettes were amazing. We visited for a birthday and found some really interesting Japanese dishes that were quite yummy and unique. I only took stars off because the fried foods were too oily or overcooked for my liking. And although some dishes were amazing, some of the dishes were just okay. But definitely worth a visit if you’re a local!

Isshin Japanese House is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Japanese cuisine in town! We went with their all-you-can-eat menu, which was unbelievably delicious and packed with variety. Honestly, we tried almost everything on the menu and not a single dish disappointed. Fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.
They offer both an all-you-can-eat and à la carte menu the dishes are mostly the same, but the portion sizes differ. The all-you-can-eat option is incredible value and perfect if you want to explore everything they have to offer without holding back.
The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I’ve been to a few other all-you-can-eat Japanese places, but this one is my favourite by far. They also have a few other branches, which is great if you’re not nearby though Forest Hill has become my go-to.
Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Japanese food at great value. You won’t regret it!

Very good Japanese ala carte buffet. Food quality is great. Taste nice. Service is prompt and friendly. The winter pot (which is included in the buffet) has tasty soup and warm us so well in the Melbourne brutal winter.

Came in for a quick take away order and the food was prepared in a very fast and prompt matter. Order the big 40+ piece platter and it was done in 20mins. Quality was great. My only issue is that the sashimi was cut so thin. A bit of a disappointment actually but the rest was great.
