The restaurant is pretty small and dark. The waitress was very nice and attentive though. We finally tried frog legs, which we couldn’t get twice in Chicago. The menu is pretty limited but anyone can find something for themselves here. The main dishes are really good, and the portions are manageable. The fish here is absolutely amazing, very fresh. Their alcoholic drinks are pretty good too.

Went for Mother’s Day for the first time and was blown away! The seasonal pasta was absolutely delicious. Fresh vegetables, amazing flavours! The burrata cheese on top was heavenly. My mom ordered the trout dish and was so impressed! We also got the charcuterie board which they omitted the meat for us upon request and gave us a stunning array of cheese, fruit and dips. The complimentary salad we received so good too. Staff were so down to earth and informative about the menu. Perfect date night spot/special occasion!

My review is closer to a 4.5/5 but Google doesn’t allow that.

I ordered 3 apps and 3 entrees with my group and I enjoyed everything except for the bouillabaisse. I paid $42 for it and it had 0 flavour. It was a big waste of money and I barely touched it throughout the dinner.

The highlights were the duck liver parfait which was amazing and the limited time item the lobster pasta.

Cocktails are a little bit more expensive than other places we’ve been to.

Overall, Bon Temps is French food done really well, but at a premium price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant.

The ambiance was delightful, service impeccable, and most dishes were exquisite.

We quite enjoyed the frogs legs plus our main courses

However, the brussel sprouts fell short, lacking flavor and tasting a bit off, preventing a perfect five-star rating.

Overall, a wonderful culinary journey with just a minor hiccup.

The boys didn’t charge for the sprouts and I’d definitely recommend.

The service and food were fantastic. The wine was really nice and dry but light. I started with the oysters and the homemade horseradish was delicious. We had a sharing 20 ounce steak. It was too much to eat all in one seating.

A surprise find and decided to try it out. It didn’t disappoint at all! The staff is very friendly and pays attention to the needs of diners. The atmosphere is great! Intimate, quiet and yet posh and classy. The best way would be shared plates between friends and try as many dishes there as possible. Each plate is unique, sophisticated, juicy, and flavorful. This place has been opened just 2.5months, not a large venue. Definitely recommended – contemporary French.

My absolute favourite date night spot!! My fiancé and I had a few chances to come before covid and loved the indoor atmosphere! We’ve been back twice post covid closures to check out their patio and so impressed. First of all both the lunch and dinner menus are unreal! Very unique and fresh dishes. The patio out front is super cozy && they also have a cool intimate patio in the back that seats 1 party I believe Up to 6 people. It’s built in with hanging plants and string lights – very cool vibe – I’ll share a few photos of the dishes we got to try the photos will speak for themselves !! The “sea-cuterie” is a must try .. thank me later

I had a very high expectation for Bon Temps with its 4.8 stars rating, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed.

Upon arrival, I could notice the ventilation was not great here. The smell of smoke from the kitchen was just too strong to ignore even I was just at the door. The cleanliness was also not very great at the table I was sitting at.

The appetizers are just ok, a bit underseasoned for both dish and nothing spectacular. The entrée are not bad but the size of braised beef was a bit too tiny. Long waittime for the food too. I would say all the things we had are decent but they are nowhere worthing this 4.8 stars rating.

Bon Temps is a little French restaurant with a really great ambiance. It was really cool that the kitchen was out in the open so that you can see the food being prepared. The service was excellent, even on a busy night (Valentine’s Day). Drinks were yummy, but the food was just okay in my opinion. However, I had the vegan options/modifier, and this isn’t a vegan restaurant. I’d give it another go.

This is definitely a spot I’d recommend ensuring you have a reservation in advance due to the select seating. Vegan and gluten free options available.

One of my best restaurant experiences of all time, honestly. Wandered in with three friends after being disappointed by another nearby restaurant, discovered it was happy hour and all got 10$ New York sours! We split a few different dishes and everything was delicious — the butternut squash sage pappardelle was especially life-changing (it was the daily pasta).
