Tonight the @OldPubClub crossed state lines to check out @ElpediosRistorante in the historic #SeipsvilleInn in #EastonPA . We had some tasty cocktails and delicious meals while being attended to by a very friendly and helpful staff consisting of mostly current and former teachers. Thanks @DinoPettinelli for stopping by to chat and sending a round of homemade #lemoncello to our table. Elpedio’s is located in the historic Seipsville Inn, a stone building constructed in 1760. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the structure features 18th-century architecture, including eight fireplaces, deep window wells, and exposed beams. Elpedio “Pete” Pettinelli bought it in 1977, restoring it before opening the restaurant in 1981. You know the #OldPubClub likes a little history, a little mystery and authenticity with their weekend excursions.

I cant say enough about this restaurant. We visited from Kansas because my ancestor built Seipsville Inn in 1760. One of the owners, Peter, took the time to tell me the history he knew and show me the building. The food was the best my son, husband and I have ever eaten with generous portions. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere feels homey and welcoming. This is definitely a place you should not miss if you are in the area! I hope to come back!

This is going to be a tough and disappointing review.
My family and I came here for an early dinner. We loved walking through the restaurant and admiring all the little facets and history of the restaurant. We chose to dine outdoors and ordered our food. Both my wife and mother-in-law both ordered the same thing, Chicken Parmigiana (Pollo Parmigiana). I ordered the special on the menu, a seafood medley.
When our server came out with our orders, it looked fabulous. My wife cut into her chicken, took a small bite, and proceeded to cut and take another bite. This is when she noticed that the chicken was RAW! She was agast. She literally FREAKED OUT. Since my mother-in-law also ordered the same thing, and wouldn’t you know it, her chicken was RAW, as well. I chose not to eat my meal as a precaution.
Everyone was hospitable and tried to make it right, but our experience was soiled by the uncooked chicken.
This, I believe, should have never happened. Accidents do happen, but there should been a better check system in place before serving to the public.

This was our second time. We both had amazing dinners. My husband got the Nonnas gravy And I got the lobster ravioli. The servings were amazing and huge that we had leftovers to bring home The service, the food, and the atmosphere in what we call “fireplace room” Was very romantic and very relaxing At no time until we feel rushed with our meal. We have made recommendation to our friends and family to dine here. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Came to Elpedio’s for the very first time on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The calamari appetizer was very good. Will not return for several reasons. The waitress didn’t take a beverage order. My husband had to ask her for a glass of Sangria. I ordered chicken parm over angel hair with garlic and olive oil. The waitress returned and stated that the chef would not prepare it that way…even though the bread was served with GARLIC & OLIVE OIL. Upon cutting the chicken, my knife wouldn’t go through it because the chicken was wounded so thin that it mainly consisted of fried bread crumbs and mozzarella cheese ($26.00). The waitress asked if we needed anything and I requested parmesan cheese. She returned with a bowl of parmesan cheese and no spoon in it. I literally used my freakn fingers. Paid $88.00 for a crappy meal and crappy service. Would have been better off going to Carrabba’s across the street…

We had a lovely meal, a birthday celebration, here! We had some special requests due to dietary needs, which were treated graciously! We ordered a variety of dishes, from eggplant, to Bolognese to Scampi to veal piccata to meatballs! The homemade linguine was priceless! The sauces superb! The shrimp and veal cooked to perfection !Where are the crowds who should be savoring this delectable home cooked Italian food! For my birthday they brought out a perfect size cheesecake with a sparkler and everyone sang!! Best birthday in ages!! Thank you!!

Our first visit to this restaurant. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. This will definitely be on our list to visit often!
On our next visit we hope to be seated one of the charming rooms in the original building.

We had a wonderful first time experience at Elpedio’s Ristorante. The homemade pasta and sauce were amazing. We each had a different dish (veal Marsala, bolognese with parppardelle pasta, and angel hair pasta with homemade meatballs). The staff were all very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our waitress gave us a wonderful recommendation on two delicious wines (Spinelli Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo and ca’ del Sarto Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo). The atmosphere was beautiful and so welcoming. We will definitely come back and let others know about this gem and we can’t wait to sit outside on their patio in the Spring.

Beautiful, rustic interior with a cozy, warm atmosphere. The waitstaff service was very good but the entrees (even the complimentary rolls with dipping oil) were disappointing. My chicken parmiagiana over linguine was chewy and the panko breading was moist instead of being crisp. Thoroughly unenjoyable. My friend’s eggplant parmiagiana was watery (good eggplant imo is cut thinly and crisp). My wife liked her salmon but also thought the accompanying vegetables (especially the asparagus) were not prepared properly. Overall, I couldn’t find a compelling reason to return.
