The old grease taste on the first bite traumatized me. Traveling through the city and couldn’t return. How can I get a refund for this trash. This should have been thrown in the garbage. Our family are professional cooks and can confirm that this was sitting under a light for at least 2 hours mixed with some under the light for 1 hour or more. No wonder they didnt have any customers. They didn’t even pluck the feathers!!! A 12 piece of feathered soggy chicken wings for $20 bucks. I’ll revise the comment once the compensation hit. Retrain your crew. It can get better.

I will never go here again. Bad business practices. They charge you extra for using your debit card as cash. This is illegal. Looked at my receipt and it clearly says cash price or card price. Im going to look into this because this can’t be legal. I asked the worker and they confirmed this is what they do. Check your receipt if you go here.
Added after Owner Responded/Check photo: Nowhere in the drive thru it states what you said. But clearly you must be mistaken on laws of merchant and the use of debit/credit cards. You absolutely can not charge customers extra for using debit/credit cards.

Whatever staff work during the morning through the afternoon before evening/night shift arrive need to work all day and night. They are phenomenal. The evening staff are really bad. We ordered a small gizzard and a 3 piece snack. The gizzards were so soft and under cooked, the wings were also not crispy. The cook at night is horrible. I am only giving 4 stars because of the day staff. Customer service on during the day is better. Horrible customer service during the night. They are playing and answering their phones. The night leadership threw the food at my car. The young woman stayed at the register preparing to close for over 5 mins before any assistance. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I guess that’s what you get when you hire this generation. The leadership really have kids running this establishment. This is so sad. This will be my last visit here. I will travel all the way to the county or south city Lee’s where they care about the customer and their jobs.

This Florissant location is so incompetent. First of all my potato wedges were cold. Secondly, I repeated my order twice at the drive thru for (3 piece wing dinner famous) I get up to the window and the lady repeated my order back to me that was correct. I get all the way home and saw on the receipt that I was charged for a 2 piece dinner and I was given a leg and thigh and not what I asked for, again was a 3 piece wing dinner Famous). My dad was not happy and just told me don’t worry about going back because it cost to much gas and time.

I ordered a 10 piece and requested no drumsticks when I opened my package when I got home there were 3 drumsticks. Such a disappointment. I even asked upon receiving my order that there should be no drumsticks and was reassured there wasn’t any. A real waste. The chicken tasted terrible. It wasn’t seasoned like Lee’s normally are.

My initial review for this establishment just said “Everything Chewy” because everything except my biscuit was super chewy. It was a 3-star overall review, with 1 star for food and 5 stars for service, because their workers were excellent. However, I am now adjusting this to a 1-star review because they seem to have slapped my review into ChatGPT to make a response to it, and the response makes absolutely no sense.

Using AI like this and not even thinking to vet the slop it pours out of its gaping firehose nozzle towards an already unsatisfied customer is abhorrent behavior, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pot pie was nice, corn and peppers good.
Chicken was not completely cooked, and one biscuit was hard.
I have edited my comment because it was incomplete. That was noticed by response from Lee’s management.

Had hair in my food & my son & I are eating n choking on hair! Then I call & the act like can’t hear me after putting me on o hold for the 10 f****** time! I am very disappointed ! I loved Lee’s ! I really think I’d be scared to eat at another Lee’s again . This is so sad
