This is a great Middle Eastern option inside the Fork Forty food hall.
The service was genuine and very, very friendly. The time to receive our lunch was a little bit longer than typical.
The chicken kebab was very flavorful. Watch out because their hot sauce is very hot.
Like Bob was cooked perfectly with a nice crusty exterior and a hot juicy flavorful interior.
Definitely check it out as the options are wonderful and the price is very very reasonable.

My husband got the butter chicken and I got the fried vegetable rolls. The woman was very friendly while taking our order but the man was a bit rude. The vegetable rolls looked and tasted like they were the frozen ones you can get at the grocery store and the butter chicken was awful. It was super salty and watery. I’m not sure how it’s possible but the chicken somehow managed to have absolutely no flavor even though it was salted to the heavens. Even the rice was salty. Will not be going back.

The place was an impulse try after going into the Fork and Forty, I ordered the lamb biryani for $18. We had come in around 8:30 and they got the food out within minutes. They are so friendly, and the rice and lamb were very filling + tender.

The food was so delicious. Biryani House is a must try for anyone wanting to try South Asian cuisine. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. For drinks, I highly recommend the mango lassi or tea.

Definitively a delightful experience. Came for a few pieces of roti to simply have as a snack, and those who worked here truly were very kind and gracious. They offered me some complementary curry to try with the roti, and I was not disappointed with the taste. Will definitely return to try more of the menu. The roti was delicious!!

FWIW, this is one of a half dozen or so start-ups, or food truck businesses making the jump to hard walls. In the back is a Cocktail Lounge. Afyer ordering, we chose the Biryani House. Glad to see the Head Chef, as I never trusted skinny chefs. Only 2orders, so an incomplete review. Plus, no time to order the rest of the menu, as we are travelling through.
The Lamb Korma (Qorma) has Tamarind pods. Be careful chewing, these can get stuck between teeth, at least in my family.
This proves my point, a mature ethnic family provider provides the ‘real McCoy’ and doesn’t cut corners. Though, this venue, service goes into clamshells. Clear for the sparse chicken pakora… truth be told, fine as it is an appetizer, not an entree. My wife loved it. The Qorma ‘could have used more sauce,’ I thought, at first glance. Then I remember how much in other places I felt was wasted. Beautiful flavor, portion size, spice, etc.. one thing, limited adjusters, as we were down the hall from the actual provider. Dudn’t slow me down at all. Plastic utensils, not standard, but for this level of cost and care, spot on. It all worked well.
If only it were vloser to my house.
