This is my first time dining here at Mango’s Cuban Café. The service was exceptional. Both owners are very caring and warm welcoming. You can tell it is a popular lunch spot because the door was constantly revolving. We ordered Patacones and a Ropa Vieja meal. The Patacones are crispy on the bottom with delicious topping consisting of shredded slaw, shredded beef, melted cheese with mayo and ketchup. It was my first time trying them and they were delicious I would totally get them again and great to share for an app or have as single serving lunch. The ropa vieja came with the choice of 3 sides and I had to stick with a classic staple of rice beans and plantains. I would order everything again except maybe swap the beans out for some boiled yuca! I can’t wait to go back and try new dishes next time!

Quality of food is top notch. The omelet ingredients are finely chopped and well distributed. Their hot sauce is house made and it is a must try. Not to spicy but packs a lot of flavor.

Nice looking restaurant. My food came out about 15 mins later. The owner is a nice guy. Overall all my experience was ok for the first time. I ordered the PATACONES which is a plantain base with a type of slaw, shredded beef and a sauce on the top..maybe was ketchup. Idk. My food was not hot and the plantains tasted like they were sitting for awhile and then warmed up. It was not fresh and crispy as it should’ve been. I would definitely try something else another time because I enjoy Spanish food. Still worth trying

Best cuban sandwichs in the west coast hands down…live in fort Lauderdale but have a 2nd home in fort myers and every time I travel home I stop here to get food for the trip home…the Cuban is 10 out of 10… the carne is 11 out of 10…and any of the platters are to die for, dont let the area or the shopping center fool you this place is 100 percent authentic

Try the Cafe con leche and Flan they were excellent. The Churrasco was delicious. The crispness of the outside of the sweet plantains was . Definitely will be back.
