El Techo is such a cool spot in center city to hang. It’s popular for post work gatherings and date nights. During nice weather the roof (“el techo”) and the windows are opened and the views are incredible. During cold weather with the roof closed the view is a bit more limited but still nice.
They can make a wide variety of cocktails. Since it’s Mexican themed they seem to specialize in tequila products. The food is good, but you can find better value elsewhere. $6 just for one individual taco, $16 for chips and guac is not really worth it.
Overall come for the fun vibes, great drinks, and beautiful views. Avoid getting food here unless you don’t mind racking up an expensive bill.

Mellow!
We enjoyed brunch on a Sunday.
Hotel guests have to go all the way down to the reception to request access back to the roof top. A little inconvenient.
Host and servers were incredibly polite and pleasant although service too a while.
Food was good. Full of flavors and presentable.
The roof top bar/restaurant is beautiful and has a bit of a view.
Makes for a good date night or brunch!
Great experience overall, except for the service being slower than we are used to. Thank you!

Our server Jacob was probably one of the most attentive people I’ve ever met. By the time I touched my glass there was a refill on the way. Super kind, full of great recommendations for the city and truly loves his job. Food is great but the service made this experience that much better. Thanks for making for a great vacation lunch stop!

Nice rooftop spot, even in winter. Food is decent but a bit pricey (about $6 per taco), which is probably expected for the location. Ambience was good, though there was a slightly odd cleaning smell when I visited. Big kudos to the service team- my server was wonderful, and the event coordinator came out to chat when I asked about hosting an event.

El Techo was the perfect venue, and the experience was made truly exceptional thanks to their event coordinator, Katie. From start to finish, she was great to work with—professional, responsive, and incredibly organized. Katie made the entire process feel effortless, handling every detail with ease and making sure nothing was overlooked. Her communication was clear and timely, and she genuinely made us feel supported every step of the way. The event itself went off flawlessly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend El Techo for any event, and if you get the chance to work with Katie, you’re in the best possible hands!

Food was ok, but I went to this restaurant because it was one of the options to use the hilton dining credits.
I used enough credits that there shouldn’t be any extra charge but the server kept insisting there was remaining balance. I insisted to see the check and they sneakily added a $10 fee because “I was using the dining credits” which is outrageous.
I had to talk to the manager to remove the god dammed fee, which I am sure for a lot of people it just goes through unperceived. Very sketchy establishment

Random find in town. I enjoyed the food very much. We had ceviche and different types of tacos. They both were very good. Drinks were nice as well. In the summer months, it looks like the top ceiling could be opened and turn into a roof deck. I can’t wait to check it out then. For now, a good cozy spot for quick bites and drinks.

This place was meh. The tacos were $6 a pop and nothing special. Same with the drinks—$14 marg was tiny and tasteless. Host was incompetent to say the least. Not rushing back any time, or ever for that matter. Very loud even outside.

Let me start by saying I love this place. I bring my employees here at least two Fridays a month to thank them for all the hard work put in through out the week. So with the storm coming this weekend my daughter came in to help me finish up some work. So we decided to go after we were done working and I was told she could not come in at 5:48 pm because she was too young (16) so now they’ve lost a loyal customer.
