Sushi was excellent, great spot for sushi and great service. Minga (chef) is kind and friendly. Recommend sitting at the bar if you get the chance to. The Diablo roll is incredible with habanero sauce. Hot but surprisingly good.

This is a pretty good sushi spot,
First off. No fishy smell(as to be expected from a real sushi place) great rolls and great service. The sushi here is made with care and is top notch. Kinda seems like a mom and pop store with a mix with higher end dtc feel.
The sushi here is great, I have had no bad experainces at this location and it’s a go too after bad sushi around this area.
Give these folks a try and you will be delighted. Great service, great rolls and a good time.

Really yummy sushi! Everything was super fresh, clean and had amazing flavor. We ordered Gyoza and edamame for happy hour appetizers, and then had a bunch of nigiri – smoked salmon, o’toro and yellowtail. We enjoyed a number of rolls including Bali Roll, Lover Roll, Salmon Fiesta and Summer Roll. All delicious. We finished with the chocolate lava cake and everyone was very friendly and wonderful

This restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, but over all the food was below average (food had no to little flavor). The services was okay, but to be fair had only one server and 3 cooks.
TMI: I know bathrooms tend to stink, but this bathroom stunk so horrible of rotten eggs.

ASA Sushi is an outstanding restaurant. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. The food quality was very good and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I ordered the sushi dinner for two and was very pleased with this entrée. It provides a generous amount of food for two people, as well as you get to sample numerous sushi items from the menu. The dinner for two also comes with salad and soup. If you visit this restaurant on the weekend I suggest making a reservation. If you enjoy sushi I highly recommend this restaurant.

Surprisingly great sushi!! We came for happy hour specials and got the steamed buns, spicy tuna roll and Tokyo roll. They were so great we also got the Denver roll and the tempura ice cream! Couldn’t recommend more.

Stopped in here, needing some time to think and eat. Pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is clean, sleek and still cozy. Never said this before but I was impressed by the tea pot. It is sturdy, rustic and pretty cool looking – a great touch! I ordered tempura and the sushi sampler. Some places skimp on the lunch servings but just the sampler was plenty. All the staff was friendly and service was fast! The miso soup flavor was a little flat for me. Everything else was very nice! The lunch prices were very reasonable, for sushi, and the parking is great. Will be back again.

Sat at the bar after closing on a house to celebrate. We got a little free piece of sashimi and the happy hour menu is INSANE. Seriously we spent $60 for 2 people and got 2 big beers, 4 rolls and 2 appetizers and we were absolutely stuffed by the end of it. Would 100% come back esp for happy hour. The crunchy crab roll is delish & so was the monkey brains.

Delicious, well portioned sushi, friendly atrentive staff.
House saki- is what it is… skip it unless ur going for saki bombs.
Wasabi- paste staple that is all we are offered in Denver. So alas.. acceptable
Ginger – again, standard denver staple, so Yea .. I guess. Moist and fresh as it should be for what it is.
Unagi- wonderful. Large portion and great presentation.
Tuna- another great portion and properly prepared
Tuna roll- nice portion properly served.. Can’t really say too much… I mean it’s a Tuna roll
The restaurant is clean, and the bathrooms are also. Staff followed proper clean/dirty zone procedure (which can be rare here in Denver for some of our local establishments).
