We came in at 3:30PM on a Friday. There was no one in the parking lot and we were not sure if it was open – walking in, it was just an empty host table. It was kind of weird. After a few minutes, a waitress came up and was surprised to see us – apparently the door didn’t go off. She took us to the table and the floors were SLIPPERY. I was in gym shoes and could still feel the slip. The room was hot and humid. Our server was fine, she had good timing, was polite and courteous. The food was okay. The artichoke dip was good, and the naan with it was great. I got ribs with fries and my husband got the brisket with Mac n cheese. The ribs were tough and not flavorful – I’ve never been to a smoke house where I have to use a knife to peel meat off ribs. The wings were fine, a salty but still worth it. The fries were adequate – they were baked fries, which isn’t my favorite (but that’s my personal preference). Brisket was good – moist, flavorful when paired with the honey BBQ sauce. The garlic roasted mashed potatoes were surprisingly good. Brussels sprouts were Brussels sprouts – just okay, pretty oily. I genuinely don’t know if I would come back, it’s not my first pick.

Fooooood was great!! Highly suggest the crab Rangoon dip. Brussels sprouts were great as well. Tore up the horseshoe Mac myself. Kids loved their food!! Wife loved her Honey Garlic chicken sandwhich. 9/10 all around. Will be going again.

I’ve been in the Midwest for about 5 months now and I’ve been looking for any food comparable to the northeast. With Dac’s smokehouse in Morton I FINALLY FOUND IT! Cooked perfectly, tastes incredible. Order was promptly made and hostess delivered it to me with a warm smile and a great personality! Place was extremely busy and every one having a great time!

Outdoor dining is available and it has on street and lot parking!

If you enjoy good food and great vibes come check this spot out!

Very flavorful and juicy meat, excellent selection on the menu for appetizers, main dishes, and sides! A little pricier, but with some reasonable options! Would recommend the brisket and Bella Mac and cheese! Atmosphere is clean, and modern. Service was friendly and efficient, but of course I wasn’t here at a busy time. Definitely a first choice for juicy and flavorful meat with excellent attention to detail!

Also, I highly recommend you read the reviews, especially bad ones.:) They paint a picture that this place is run by someone who runs a truly great restaurant and has service and quality as their top priority. It almost makes me want to write a bad review just to see what his response might be, but try as I might, I couldn’t. I have eaten here several times and the food has never failed to thoroughly impress me. I am not aware of a better option for miles.

Just plain delicious. Had the Baby bella and brisket Mac, creamy and dreamy. Corn fritters with Blueberry bourbon sauce were straight fire! Everytime the server brought food out to a table it was like fireworks, couldn’t help but stare.

The food was fantastic! It took a little while to absorb the menu with so many options. I settled on the meat plate with pulled pork and brisket, jalapeno cornbread, garlic mashed potatoes and maple bacon Brussels sprouts. The brisket was perfect – smokey and tender. The sides were delicious and there were close to a dozen side options to choose from. And the sauces…I ordered 2 because I couldn’t decide on just one. There was also an extensive drink menu. I was with a large party and our server took care of us masterfully. The atmosphere was a little underwhelming, but everything else was great. I’ll definitely be back.

mini museum and one of the best burgers i’ve ever had. fries were crunchy and the jalapeno cornbread was worth trying. the dining room is an old garage and relics from the building’s past (blacksmith shop) are used as statement pieces. owner and service were super friendly too 🙂

My sons and I finally managed to get in here and we were not disappointed! The pulled pork in the nachos and horseshoe was tender and tasted great, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings. I snuck a bit of brisket from my son’s sandwich, and it, too was amazing. We opted to try the smoked wings as well, and they had just the right hint of smoke to balance with the honey sriracha aioli we chose. Just a great lunchtime stop for us. This location has limited seating so we probably wouldn’t bring the whole family, but we’ll definitely be grabbing some takeout in the (hopefully near) future.

I had very high hopes for Dac’s smokehouse. I even selected it for my birthday meal. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. We started with the crab rangoon dip (pictured). As you can tell by the picture, the dip was overcooked and burnt on top. The wonton chips and the sauce were the best part of the dish. My wife had the Big Dac. It was very dry and overcooked. The chips were also not flavored properly. I had the Mac and Cheese horseshoe with the Andouille sausage. The sausage was the only part of the dish that was good. The rest was again very dry. Service was alright. The price was very high for the quality of food. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
