Tried this spot today and overall had a great experience. I ordered the jerk ribs with two sides—mac and cheese and veggies. The jerk ribs were amazing, packed with flavor and easily the highlight of my plate. The veggies (green beans today) were okay—nothing spectacular, but not bad either.
The mac and cheese was a little disappointing. It tasted like there might have been some truffle oil added, which wasn’t bad flavor-wise, but it really lacked sauce. It was more noodles and flavor than a creamy, cheesy dish. When I think of mac and cheese, I expect gooey cheese sauce, and this just didn’t have that. If the sauce was increased, it could be really good.
I also tried my partner’s dish—garlic parmesan lamb chops with shrimp and mashed potatoes—and wow, that plate was so good. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavor, and the shrimp were amazing. He doesn’t even like shrimp and still wanted more.
Overall, great flavors and definitely worth checking out.

The Outside Kitchen is the spot to go get some great food with great portions. Want to impress some family from out of town with great food? Bring home something from here and I know they’ll be impressed. I’ve been few times and every time they’ve met and exceeded my expectations. Locally black owned and look for the line outside, that many people waiting patiently you know the food has to be good.

I typically try not to leave reviews but this experienced deserved it. I visited the restaurant on December 10, 2025, a few weeks before christmas. I entered the restaurant and it smelled extremely awkard. I ordered the shrimp pasta plate, egg rolls and a drink. The first bite of my pasta was filled with grease and oils, extremely over seasoned. I spit it out and tried the eggrolls to atleast eat something i paid for (Overpriced in my opinion), they were tolerable but also extremely over seasoned. That night I was rushed to the ER due to food poisoning and spent the last 3 weeks of the year in recovery. This place is HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED and I will be following up with legal action soon for

I’ve never had fried lobster prior to this visit and it did not disappoint. My niece had the Philly cheese steak egg rolls were wow. It’s bougie food with flair. Every bite has bold flavors. I definitely recommend.

did have a bit of an off smell when i walked in but it went away after being in for a while. I got the egg rolls with a shrimp mac and cheese, it was delicious. You could really taste the flavor in all the food. Also tried some of the fried lobster and honestly could say 10/10 one of the best i’ve had. would definitely come again!

The menu is small but the food and atmosphere is good. I love the Miami South Beach colors. I had the lobster tail and shrimp smack & cheese. My wife had the salmon and shrimp potato. I thought the lobster was fried a bit hard but it wasn’t bad. The salmon was pretty small for the price.

The signature Outside Burger is fire!! Fresh ingredients, grilled to perfection, juicy and savory with that spicy kick like Chef saying “yeah I got you”. Best burger I’ve in years. Took one bite while I was in traffic and nearly lost my damn mind. Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

I ordered my food at 4:15 pm . I’m patient, I went up to the counter and asked how much longer at 4:49 pm. They tried to give me some food that had been sitting out for at least 25 minutes or so. I asked could I get my food fresh, the young lady gets an attitude and is just rude. The guy understood . This is my first time visiting and I spent $40. I said I could just get a refund. . My fish wasn’t hot. The lemonade was good though.
