baddpizza | wings serves up Buffalo, NY style pizza and wings! We are bringing some of the best of Buffalo to the DC area. Western NY pizza is not too thick and not too thin. It has a sweeter sauce and toppings all the way to the edge. Our pepperoni is the famous and delicious cup & char. And we deliver huge 18 pizzas! Our wings are some of the best in the DMV – if your a wing lover, you will love baddpizza | wings!

This was our first time eating here and we don’t plan to be back. Ordered a cheese pizza and 20 wings. Late Sunday evening order, so we wanted to get something simple and good to take home. The cheese was so thick on the pizza, we resorted to removing the cheese and sprinkled parm on. The sauce was also way too thick. Had to remove the cheese for our small kids because it was a choking hazard. The wings were fried very hard and were tough.
While cutting more of the pizza we noticed that the dough was not fully cooked.. another disappointment. If we hadn’t spent so much and gotten all the way home, we most likely would have gotten something else to eat on the way back. Not trying to trash this place, but I usually thoroughly read reviews before trying new places, and this is the one time I didn’t.

Finally got to try the long-awaited Badd pizza to open, and the kids loved it! We got the personal pizzas, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the shape which is a 16×6 long rectangle instead of the traditional circle shape pizza. The flavors are good, but I missed having a traditional crust on my pizza, whereas this pizza had ingredients baked to the edge (that’s just my personal preference, next time we try them I want to get a regular shape pizza to try the crust). We also got an order of their signature and pit wings, and I was very impressed that they still had a crunch even after being sauced. Most other take out pizza places have soggy wings, so this was a pleasant surprise. We also got the monkey bread for dessert, which was delicious and we finished the whole box. The best part was their customer service, especially with how much they cared to make sure that my order was right. We’ll definitely come back for more!

EDITED: Changed to 5 stars as the GM of BaddPizza Hilltop reached out to me. Here’s hoping he can correct some of this locations issues but you can’t address what you don’t know (and now he knows). I’m looking forward to the improvements (hopefully).

I love BaddPizza… I’ve been ordering it for years (I am originally from Buffalo)…. but this Hilltop location is not living up to the other BaddPizza locations. Pictured are the last two pizzas that I picked up. Each was a large with one topping [pepperoni]. As you can see, there is not much pepperoni and not evenly distributed. The third picture is of my wings… the sauce leaked through the box because the wings weren’t wrapped up correctly (luckily, I had them on top of the pizza box in my car). The email I had sent previously expressing my disappointment to BaddPizza went unanswered, so I am leaving this review in hopes that someone does something to make this location better. I spent $55 for pizza and wings… and while it is usually worth it, it isn’t from this particular location. Pics or it didn’t happen. Here’s hoping this BaddPizza location gets their stuff sorted out soon.

I ordered the wings and I will continue to order the wings because they are absolutely fire. Not a fan of the pizza. It’s not for me. But those wings!! They’re just like the one’s I had in Buffalo, NY. I would absolutely do 500-1000 push ups for those wings! The other food does not touch the wings! #Wangz

Well shoot. As a Buffalo native, I never thought our pizzas were anything special, it was all I knew growing up. It was simply pizza. But after having left nearly 30 years ago and living lots of other places and now finding BaddPizza, I can admit it. I was wrong. I was instantly transported back to my childhood. The crust, the sauce, the pepperoni… I love BaddPizza! And my quest to find the perfect wings is also over. Is it too soon to go back? This is pizza & wings done right!

The pizza, half pepperoni and half mushrooms. I liked it (pepperoni) my wife (mushrooms) did not. The wings, though flavorful needed to cooked a couple minutes less. They were pretty hard. The owners need to be on sight occasionally to see peoples reactions in person. With all the poor reviews concerning the wings, I would hope the owners would take this to heart.
I will give them 1 more chance, but only after I read that the wings are being cooked less hard.

If you’re in the market for Buffalo style pizza and wings, go next door to Wegmans where you can get more authentic flavors for a fraction of the cost. The pizza dough was soggy and had a thick goopy layer of cheese. The wings were subpar with no spice and no crisp. The garlic bread was an even sadder, chewier situation.

first time trying baddpizza and i will definitely be ordering again. the first thing i noticed in picking up the box is that these things are HUGE and DENSE! we got a whole meat lovers pizza that will likely provide our family of 3 with 3 meals!!!
the toppings were very generous on the meat lovers…every bite had some pepperoni or sausage or meatball in bite, most bites had some of each. the cheese is heavy…i would prefer mine a little browner on top (will ask for another 2 minutes in the over next time). i found the sauce to be very tasty with noticeable garlic flavor.
i can understand why the thin crust fans — or even traditional hand-tossed fans — might not love this style, but my family thought it was great! we’ll definitely return.

they got the badd pizza part right… this wasnt just bad… it was downright awful…
this was the worst pizza i had in a while… wasted 20 bucks on half a pepperoni… i agree when people wonder how this place became a franchise… of all the good pizza places in nova… this was the worst i had since relocating up here… this is why i hate trying new things, especially pizza.. cheese had no taste, dough was soggy, tomato sauce tasted like watered down ketchup…
