Classic dive bar, fun atmosphere, and great blues every Wednesday night. The TP is an institution.

What the hell happened? Town Pump at one time was a beloved and favored dive bar, but something has seriously changed. The standard bar style pool tables? Gone. In their place are tables, tables, and more tables with a 20yr old pinball machine that costs $1 to play with a broken right flipper. Our staple order there before the ‘reorg’ was their cheese dip n chips and wings with a couple beers and shots of Jamesons to start the fun off with. The cheese dip gets you ruffles potato chips or Fritos scoops…no tortilla chips anymore. The Jamesons was good, but at $10 a shot, we could have bought our own 720 and headed home…this is not high-end whiskey folks. Ordered Blue Moon which came in a can. We had to ask for a glass, and then ask for the orange slice….Huh?!?! TP was notorious for it’s wings before with Wings Wednesdays being a treat many came to enjoy. The wings we had were…wet?? Not sure exactly how to describe them…but they’re definitely not crispy, definitely not fried and definitely not a high point on the menu as they once were. I pretty much gave up when we asked for some wet-naps and was told they dont have those anymore. I think the straw that broke the camel’s back was seeing a Lord of the Rings pinball machine that was 20+yrs old charging a full $1 to play like it was the newer high-def pinball machines there are out there now. All in all, two shots of Jamesons, two Blue Moons, the cheese dip and 10 wings put us north of $70 including tip. You know it’s not the same when the ‘regulars’ that once were there are no longer there and instead of your typical crowd, you have toddlers, newborns and families in a “dive bar”. The place is just another restaurant which is fine for those who didn’t know what it lost.
To be sure, we wont be back…there are better places that don’t pretend to be something it once was.

I love town pump. Micah is the best bartender ever ever ever. Good vibes! Giant Jenga is the best there too haha I miss when Carla worked the door but the new people are nice

I just recently moved to the Little Rock area & I have to say, this place DID NOT disappoint! My server was Lorin & she went above &
beyond! She was very attentive & made me & my friends’ experience there really fun! She has a bubbly personality, and is very funny! All of her recommendations were spot on! The food was incredible & the drinks were exceptional! I will be going back, and will try to get Lorin as a server again because she was incredible!

A chill lunch spot that transforms into a bustling dive bar after dark. Happy hour deals abound.

This was an old fashioned watering hole. They still have a wonderful staff. The interior as reworked is a very good upgrade that is still comfortable. But they have missed the boat entirely on the menu. The lunch was just okay. Hopefully they will find a way to improve menu. It is nice to see a response- thanks. But, so far no adjustments to the menu.

This is a go to spot for drinks, people watching, and excellent bartending. Micah is great and I honestly to god only go when he’s there. He’s a great guy what can I say.

This is my favorite bar! I’ve been coming here for years, and Courtney always takes care of me! I love a dive bar with a good mixture of ages, tasty food, and cold cold beer. After new owners and 6 months away, I’m so glad they didn’t ruin this LR institution! The Pump is still here for us.

Walking in to town pump felt nostalgic, but with a touch of newness. The staff were all friendly and very attentive. With the Barnaby group opening, I wonder if people expected the food to be comparable to George’s, but I was expecting good bar food and that’s exactly what I was served! Had to go back just for the buffalo dip and those turkey sliders! Also, Courtney and Megan were serving some of the best Bloody Mary’s, I’ve ever had, for brunch. I wasn’t a “regular” before, but I will be now!
