First time dining here. There was a loud group walking in (to the bar) when we arrived. They probably didn’t need another drink. Thankfully, the bar is through a separate door from the dining room, but we could still hear them.
The place in general is well outdated (not unusual for many Chinese restaurants, sadly. There weren’t many other people dining.
Our server was cordial and very efficient, but she didn’t seem to be happy to work there.
The food was typical, middle of the road Chinese food. Prices were reasonable which helped. Probably better for takeout rather than dining in.

Place looked really good. Was nasty. No flavor.
Rice tasted like it had been cooked a week ago.

First time ordering from here and let me just say mouth watering food everything was fresh (pork fried rice / shrimp fried rice chicken fingers spare ribs general tso chicken) Excellent customer service Christina was great . Highly recommend will be ordering again soon .

Back to 1990s Atmosphere in this place. Food was terrible and fatty. Waiter was rude. Didn’t come back to ask for a drink refill either. The cola and water tasted terrible as well. I’d never go back here again….

The food… well…. we haven’t been in about 7 years and probably won’t for another 7 if ever…
The pupu Platter was good. Everything was fresh.
All our main dishes except one noodle dish ( we ordered lunch menu value) they were all in a thick brown sauce ( we cook a lot w oyster, soy, ponzu, and fish sauces) but never get thar thick bland and dark… must be the sauce they coat all the dishes in.
But pork fried rice was gross. Had very very odd( not in a good way) flavor.. like was burnt eggs and old iron metal grill top that cooked it… also was soooo sooo dark. It was terrible.
Like super old and reheated? Idk but yuck….
The one noodle dish w rice noodle was actually very light and tasty and not dark at all. Was the best dish of all..

Kahula restaurant has been consistently delivering stellar Chinese food since I was born. I grew up eating there and loved it every single time. It’s such a treat. I can’t imagine how there could be mediocre ratings. It’s always been amazing. Thank you, kahula.

Unfortunately probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Fried rice was terrible. Eggdrop soup was just whisked egg.

Very good food and very ample servings. Got the food to go, they had Karaoke going on in the Lounge. Will get more food here when back in the area.
