The atmosphere was cool, laid back and not too loud which I appreciated. I could tell that a lot of regulars come here by the interactions between the staff and the guests which means they’re doing something right. My bartender/server John was personable and attentive (definitely worth tipping). He got my sugar rim right every time without him having to ask me, “salt or sugar” like once I say sugar there’s no switching up. The prices are reasonable and the food was better than I expected. I ordered Birria tacos (those and the consumé were on point) the rice and beans didn’t disappoint and the elotes hit the spot for me. Once I added more cheese at home and hit it with the lime I was in heaven. I’d definitely come back here not just for the drinks and food, but the whole experience was definitely a vibe.

I’m a native of Savannah And I really enjoy authentic Mexican food you. The first meal I had was Texas Fajita chimichanga And it was amazing. On my second visit, I ordered a Texas fajita baked potato as you can see I love heat and just like the chimichanga the baked potato was phenomenal. It came out, sizzling on a hot skillet, loaded with Chicken, shrimp, and steak I couldn’t finish it all. And I may be going out on a limb with this because I’m not a drinker But I will see they have the best margaritas in town I tried to Go at least one time a week to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and music. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cooking with good vibes and great service I encourage you to visit Carlitos in Pooler on Highway 80.

Have a great time here. Came as a party of 9 and there was zero wait and the waitresses were awesome. The food was also really good and didn’t take that long. I got the supremos and those were good, but I probably should have ordered a side. They also do karaoke!

My family and I went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a blast. The Bob Marley! Karaoke puts it over the top. Nothing negative but a suggestion. Better preparation when there’s reservations and a nice sized party. We had different families/parties mingling and singing all night.

We came to Carlito’s for my birthday dinner, and we were overwhelmed by this place! The food was fantastic, the prices were awesome, and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was not only amazingly good but the proportions were huge! Gabi, our waitress was wonderful and very attentive to us the entire night! We will be back, and I recommend this place to anybody wanting great authentic Mexican food in a casual atmosphere! I’d give this place 12 stars if the app would let me!

Called in order for pickup. I was charged more than the price from the menu on their website. See pic of online menu compared to my receipt. How’s that fair? For the price the portions were small. Beans and rice were both cold. Tortillas were not fresh. Steak was tough and chewy.

It’s okay. Staff is friendly but the food was bland and the prices were on the higher side. Kitchen might have been off because our food did not look like the pictures others have posted. In fact it came out super quick which is not a good sign that the food is cooked fresh. Music was turned up with a party in the back. Little odd there was a security guard guy at the bar, didn’t look like he was eating or drinking. Saturday night, figured they would be on their A game. Might just be an off night I guess.

Coming home from a 9-day cruise, my husband and I both had colds. We had planned on spending the evening in Savannah, but just didn’t feel up to it, so a quick Google search led us to Carlitos. The service and the food was excellent. We shared the Molcajete. This dish was sooo good. If I lived near this restaurant, I would eat here at least once a week.

A nice little spot for Mexican food. Fast friendly service and awesome food. We ordered fried chimichangas and Texas rice. Chips and salsa were free and their salsa was really good. We would definitely come back.

The food was great and the service was excellent. I can’t believe that I had to take food home and it was good heated up. Their pork burrito had a smoke flavor and it was music to my taste buds. I would say give them a try if you are in the area and wish to eat a great authentic meal. Oh yeah, they have a fully stocked bar.
