@birria.el.gordo was so good!! I could not even come close to eating all of this. It was all very fresh! You can wait a long time but it is worth it because it is fresh. My only complaint and warning, it is SO HOT if you dine in. I wish they were closer but it was worth it!

The food here was amazing. My wife and daughter had the jackfruit tacos which they loved being vegetarians. What really amazed me was that they had the vegetarian dipping broth(sorry I don’t know the technical term ). I had the beef tacos and flour beef quesadilla which was amazing.
The owner was super friendly, he asked about my experience and passed out waters to everyone waiting. Oh the dj was . We plan to go back this Tuesday for Tuesday !!!

I found this place on IG and was super excited to come here. It was a huge let down. I had the chicken, beef, goat and jackfruit tacos. The chicken was dry and none of the meat tasted seasoned. The jackfruit was pretty good, as was the pineapple juice they have.

Hands down some of the best authentic tacos I’ve had next to my moms homemade ones! The tacos were a bit greasy but I loved it that way. I ordered the chicken, beef, and goat tacos dorados. They come with a little bag of cilantro, onion, and lime on the side. The meat was well cooked and tasty. The aguas frescas were super refreshing as the salsas were a little spicy (especially the red sauce). My favorite agua was the agua de jamaica. We also ordered the mango which was okay to me at least, but my boyfriend loved it. The seating indoors was spaced out far enough to be six feet. I do however wish there was outdoor seating. Over all the restaurant was kept pretty clean. I will definitely be bring my parent here next time because the food was that good!

A little hole in the wall place. Separated from everything else and there is a reason why. The food is excellent! Me myself and I had a blast eating it. When I first walked into the restaurant, I was overwhelmed by the line. I’d figured I drove the 16 mins for me to get there so I waited. I, always presume that if there’s a line, there must be something good here. And, boy was I right! I ordered the Birria Vegan Tacos- made of Jackfruit. Those tacos were so delicious that I forgot I wasn’t eating meat. The time I waited in line was well worth it. I, also ordered a large horchata( because, duh it’s horchata)! If you’re thinking about going to eat there, just GO! They have all sorts of meat options for everyone!

Very expensive! The videos on TikTok make it look soooooo good. But I have to say, videos can be very deceiving. My wife and I went for lunch and it was $40. She had been watching videos of this place for a month or so, and she really thought we had a new restaurant that we would frequent. But after leaving, we both agreed that we would not be going back. They don’t even have salt and pepper on the tables. Its not La Parria, thats for sure.
We all have different tastes. Dont let me discourage you from trying it. If you like truly authentic Mexican food, you might love it.
