While the atmosphere and the service were both pretty good, the food was terrible and super heavy. The food descriptions did not match the actual meals. The bread tasted day old and the cake was super dense and tasted as if it had been in the freezer and reheated. With Rhode Island having some of the best food in the country, this was a disappointment to say the least. Prices are way too outrageous for the quality of food.

The food was delicious . I ordered the braised short rib tagliatelle, a signature order of mine. This was the best I’ve ever had! A plentiful portion of short rib and plenty of pasta.

Experienced servers that got everything to us in a timely manner.

What a great night last night !!!
We made last minute reservations for 18 people after my daughter’s Graduation, the food as always was excellent and the service was awesome and catered to everything we needed. From appetizers… calamari , eggplant , pizzas…. To entrees of chicken , pasta , veal it was all perfect & couldn’t have asked for a better night!!!
Thank You to all the staff that made this possible , much appreciated!!!

I was really disappointed with my experience. This used to me my go to for takeout or eat in. I ordered penne pink vodka and asked to substitute the penne for gnocchi, specifically stating I did NOT want gnocchi with pink sauce and ricotta—I wanted the regular pink vodka sauce. What I received was gnocchi with plain tomato sauce and basil, which was not what I ordered at all.
This isn’t even the first time my order has been wrong, which makes it more frustrating. On top of that, the service at the bar has been terrible. Deals were promoted, but the included items (salad, dessert, etc.) were never provided unless prompted—and even then, they were missed.
Between incorrect food and poor service, this experience was unacceptable. I expect much better consistency and attention to detail

First time at Fresco and it easily made the list of restaurants we return to. Travis was our server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, very polite and professional with attention to detail. They offer a very extensive menu – including gluten free choices. Our meal was delicious from the appetizer to dessert (which we took to go). The atmosphere is beautiful – you could talk without shouting and had your privacy too! Our bill was under $100. 5 stars all the way. Thank you Travis for being a wonderful server!

We were there, Monday, August 4, 2025. Our waiter was Ben, who was very pleasant and polite and very willing to make our experience a good one. Ben was helped by a young lady, of which I do not know her name. They sang Happy Birthday to me. The food was excellent and fresh. On my way to the restroom, I was met by the waitress. She asked me if I went to your restaurant often. I said it was about my 3rd time. She said please come more often. She said she really enjoyed serving us. I gave her a hug for saying that and I reassured her that I will bring more friends and family there. These are the kind of people that every one of us would love to have. You will see me there every chance I get.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Lighting was adequate. My dish, chicken parm had water at the bottom of the plate. There was so much sauce on top and chicken was extremely thick (some people like that) personally I do not. The fried mozzarella tasted like oil need to be changed. The Brussels sprouts were not hot and had dry cold cheese on top ( which I have never seen before). The bread and oil was excellent very rustic and hearty. The bathrooms had NO hot water and trash was overflowing. If you are going to charge $25-45 entrees at least have hot water in bathroom. Not sure if East Greenwich is same owners but I feel like I had better experience there.

Ourselves and our guests are still raving over our experience at my sister’s retirement party last Saturday night. We were in the private room. From the moment we arrived until we left (somewhat after closing time with not one person asking us to leave!) our experience was OUTSTANDING. Our 2 young servers, Allie and Ben (who was training but you would never know it!) provided exceptional service for 25 people and they DID NOT miss a beat throughout the evening. They were pleasant, energetic, courteous, engaging, and extremely professional. They did not make 1 error throughout the evening. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the meals, the servings were ample and oh so delicious! The prices were beyond reasonable with a choice of appetizers and 4 entrees (we preselected the appetizers and entrees). Everyone had leftovers! The manager, Bill, could not have been more accommodating. He was super flexible and allowed us to bring cakes in without charging a cutting fee which is highly unusual. Thank you Bill, Allie, and Ben for a truly delightful evening! We will certainly see you soon!
