Social Profile:

We take the simple and, sometimes boring, breakfast sandwich and pack it with delicious and innovative flavors that are guaranteed to start your morning off right. Running with the philosophy of food cooked fresh and from scratch, we make all of our sauces in house, grind our own sausage, chorizo, and brisket burger patties, peel and cook our own potatoes, and source our Japanese milk buns and English muffins from a local bakery.

Trendy spot offering traditional breakfasts with a twist using locally sourced ingredients.

This is genuinely my favorite chicken sandwich that I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!) Everything is so good but I have to shoutout the waffles and the chorizo hash, I was so pleasantly surprised by the belgium waffles!

The workers are also so nice even though they’re so busy, they gave me recommendations on the menu and helped bring the food out to me since I ordered so much. My go to brunch spot now!

As a longtime Orange County local guide, I’ve hit up my share of brunch spots, but Eggbred in La Habra just leaped to the top of my list! We dove into the Scramble Me Softly—eggs so fluffy and soft, they practically melted in your mouth—and the Avocado Toast brought that perfect sunny, fresh vibe with every creamy bite. But let’s talk about The Ben Franklin: the hollandaise sauce is straight-up amazing, rich and velvety without overpowering the rest. Service was spot-on, and the cozy vibe had us lingering. Can’t wait to swing back for round two—highly recommended!

I was happy to finally get to try this place.  I’ve had it on my want to go places for a while now.  Upon entering, looking around just puts a smile on your face.  The decor is simple but warm.  I’m the type of person that likes reading all the phrases on the wall while waiting for food.
The place wasn’t crazy busy but it had a steady flow of customers.   The lady who helped me was super nice and took the time to explain popular items and her personal recommendation for my first visit.  She went above and beyond with the menu.   I was very appreciative.
I ordered:

1.  Breakfast burrito w/ applewood smoked bacon and sausage:  It was love at first bite.   It had a perfect balance of everything.  This is really all you need to start your day or go back to sleep.

2.  Bacon egg and cheese sandwich:  I enjoyed the thick pieces of bacon, be careful the egg might pop.   I didn’t mind when it did.   It made the sandwich even better with the ketchup and fluffy bread.

3.  Beer battered potatoes:  Super crunchy.  Texture was different from french fries, it’s like a cross between french fries and onion rings.

I can’t wait to come back and try the mixed berry waffle  and other breakfast or lunch items.

The Smothered Yard Pimp (Buttermilk fried chicken, country sausage gravy, soft scrambled eggs, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack, salsa verde) – This burrito is huge! It’s like a southern breakfast in a burrito! Lots of gravy and those soft scrambled eggs are amazing!
☕️ Hot Drip Coffee – Coffee is a little on the bitter side but pairs nicely with breakfast.
The Breakfast Poutine (Beer Battered potatoes, buttermilk popcorn chicken, country sausage gravy, poached fresh-cracked egg, cheddar jack, roasted pepper chimichurri, chives) – I love poutine so I definitely had to get this! It did not disappoint! The potatoes are crispy and the gravy is lusciously thick. Egg was perfectly poached with a nice running yolk.
☕️ Cold Brew Coffee – A little on the bitter side for a cold brew. Added agave syrup and cream to balance it out.
The Truffle Crunch Burger (Certified angus beef, sharp cheddar, arugula, white truffle spread, crispy fried onion, smoked jalapeño, ketchup, toasted milk bun) – Truffle aroma is strong which I love but didn’t really taste it. Burger was a little dry but that cheddar cheese made up for it. It had a sharp cheddar flavor along with a creamy texture. I could eat that cheese forever!
Ribeye Steak & Egg (Thin-sliced ribeye asada, sharp cheddar, fresh-cracked over medium egg, lemon dressed arugula, caramelized onions, roasted pepper chimichurri, smoked paprika spread, toasted milk bun) – This sandwich is full of flavor! It’s like having steak & eggs breakfast in a bun. And the bun… fabulous! It was toasted perfectly for a little crunch yet pillowy on the inside. And that cheddar cheese… Can’t wait to order this again with the Breakfast Poutine!

Had the loaded ribeye burrito to go and dang this thing was meaty. It was the ideal combination of meats, eggs, potatoes, and more. It’s not your basic breakfast burrito for sure and it really hit the spot. For the price point, I’d say it was well worth it considering the size of some of their typical burgers which are often on the smaller size. This thing really hits the spot if that’s what you’re looking for.

First time visiting and decided to try their Ben Franklin breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I definitely recommended this item if you enjoy a classic eggs Benedict and they even provide you with a side of the hollandaise sauce so you can dip your sandwich in. The only thing is it had too much arugula for my liking but I just removed some of it. I’ll have to visit to try their other items if I’m in the area again

The food is good, but the salsa is terrible. I had the green salsa with my chorizo burrito and it tasted like they didn’t even use the correct ingredients for the salsa. I don’t know if they use actual tomatillos or if they just used green tomatoes, but it definitely isn’t Mexican salsa if that’s what they’re going for. The burrito was good, though, especially the potatoes. They were perfectly seasoned and crispy.

Such a nice little breakfast spot in La Habra. On our recent visit I got the Benny on the rocks and my wife got the steak burrito. Both were really good and cooked perfectly. I’ve gotten the breakfast sandwiches in the past and those were really good too.

Maybe my top breakfast joints around.
Probably the best fries I’ve had and I’m sad cause I’m not local to these!
I tried the chorizo hash and the egg was perfect.
Was so good that I had to come back the next day and had the sausage, cheese and egg sandwich which was also amazing!!!
I wanted to come back and try the burrito but ran out of time.
One thing wasn’t a fan of the OJ but the food makes up for it!
Will deff be back whenever I’m in SoCal.
