I really love this hotel so I wanted to love the restaurants! Shelleica made sure that happened. He fast and knowledgeable service was a pleasure. She was also very friendly and sweet!

We started with some sushi from next door. Will review for them.

My main dish was the truffle chicken salad. I am a chicken salad fanatic, so I set my bar low here just in case. This chicken salad was perfectly processed. There was no rough chop to the meat at all. The right amount of mayo as well. They also use shaved black truffles and not oil, which was amazing. All this amazing salad was on a fresh buttery toasted brioche bun. I wish this item was not seasonal because it’s perfect for a hot day at the beach. YUMMMMY!

My husband had a filet, and he said it was cooked wonderfully!

I also tried the grouper sandwich for another lunch. It a big fresh filled on their wonderful toasted brioche buns!

We also tried the breakfast buffet. It is one of the better buffets I’ve been to. It’s simple and all items were warm and fresh.

Sandcastle at night serves sushi! I loved the Spider roll. My parents shared the seafood platter. My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was again good, but not amazing. For the price 28 per person, I believe it should be amazing.

Our server brought our check after only 20 minutes. I had ask for refills of the coffee.
I am accustomed to Hilton having exceptional service.

Ate breakfast here everyday during our stay at the resort and they had wonderful options. Some days I stuck with the continental breakfast which was cereal, fruit, pastries and bagels/toast. One day I did the hot continental breakfast which included an omelet and waffle station, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, hash and scrambled eggs. Everything was clean and organized and the staff were lovely.

My husband and I sat down for what the thought was going to be a please t breakfast experience. However, we were stared at the entire time by staff and other residents, and it created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Once we were ready for the check after eating our bland eggs and grits, we were surprised to see the $70 charge on the receipt. We saw a sign saying $16.80 for adults and believed that’s what we would be charged. I’m fine with paying $70 for a nice breakfast, but not for a generic hotel breakfast. Would not recommend.

Very noisy atmosphere in the evening. Service was friendly but slow. The food was mediocre. It was warm at best like it had been sitting for a while before it made its way to us. And the prices? I know it’s a hotel and that automatically means more expensive but a $15 grilled cheese sandwich? I don’t think so.

Waited literally 40 minutes for a pizza !!!!! A pizza. Went to ask the bartender about the order with no attitude and he gave the snarkiest smart ass comment he could about people being in there like I only asked after 5 mins we waited 40 minutes then got served with less then pleasing attitude from a bartender at a “nicer” hotel.
