Absolutely loved the food here. They serve some real, authentic Kerala food with great flavors and quality. Everything tasted fresh and reminded me of home-style cooking. If you’re looking for genuine Kerala cuisine, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Food was good. Service also was good Meals option was tasty. Some good kerala food. Karimeen pollicathu was very good. We got spoiled aviyal. Also got a kappa biriyani and that was also spoiled. Small place and but over all testy food. They should check the food and stop serving spoiled food.

I’m writing this review as I prepare to drive 25 minutes each way for the best Indian food and service in the DFW area. If you love hole in the wall eats it’s nearly impossible to beat Masala Courtyard. The dishes are served fresh, with staff that will tell you about the process of making your food and share samples with you the entire time. Everyone there has a smile, and once you taste their butter chicken you’ll understand why. It’s worth the drive. Highly recommend.

First off, I’m from kerala m, in Houston since the past one year and been a couple of times to Dallas.
Secondly, the food here is nothing to write home about. For those who can’t cook, or find it difficult to cook decent food, I could relate to the sentiment of getting great food here.

I had the beef Biriyani, the chicken meals and the pazhampori and tea.
Food was decent. I shall never say it was bad however, to say that it is one of the best kerala restaurants would be an overstatement.

That being said, I would always support a family run business over any of those big ones out there and I shall definitely be back to try more here.

Coming to the food, the beef Biriyani wasn’t exactly a kerala style one. Perhaps a Hyderabadi style would be the way to describe it.
The meals, well their thoran, Avial, morr kootan, sambhar were good. Those reminded me of my college days. However, the chicken curry was too watery and tasted like the base of a kadala (black chana) curry and less of a chicken curry.
Tea was decent, perhaps a little too much sugar for my preference and the pazhmapori was decent.

I overheard them say that it’s been a year now and I was hoping more structure by now. They were down a man today, and therefore I have no qualms with the time taken. However, they seemed a little all over the place. The lady was friendly and thanked everyone for cooperating.

Shall definitely be back to try more dishes and I hope I have a better experience.

Is good in one way that they have Kerala food presence here in Texas Dallas , but little authentic food taste is missing. It’s close to Kerala food but not so great. Does not have a great dine in facility but if you want take way it will be good. The lady on the counter is polite and good. Always use the restroom which is dedicated for Kerala kitchen not the other one which is horrible and you can not step in. I have not seen such a horrible condition restroom in any store

This restaurant is an absolute disaster. The food was stale, cold, and disgusting. The packaging was a nightmare the entire curry leaked and soaked through the bag. The food was literally not fit to eat. I ordered pothichoru and 2 beef cutlets, and guess what? The cutlets were missing. This isn’t a one-time issue they never have the items they list and still take orders like it’s a joke. We had an accident recently and were relying on outside food since we couldn’t cook, and this place served us garbage. I honestly don’t trust any of those glowing 5-star reviews they must be fake. Total scam and shameful service. Never ordering from this place again.

Disappointed!
Not a Kerala cuisine any more. Tried non veg thali, parota, mango lassi & fish fry.

Thali ok, Parota and Mango lassi was good. The fish was not good. We couldn’t eat.
The only reason why I am giving 3 star is because of the pool girl who was at the counter. Her service and care is appreciated.

Crisp flavors and light/tender textures. The dishes are very aromatic with a mild heat and allowing the spices to speak.

The parottas were super flaky, crunchy and buttery.

Very friendly staff and great food coming from a restaurant inside a gas station.

Great food. Hole in the wall in gas station often means you will find excellent delicacies. This was no exception. Malabar chicken was great. Owner came out and greeted us personally. Made us feel welcome.

Tasting real Kerala food after a long time. Beef fry and porotta is outstanding. Tried couple of fish frys, but felt more salty. A must try restaurant.

Replying to owners review:

I left the review in 2021 when those items were served.
