Super cute, especially for Christmas. We understand it’s busy and there were only two bartenders. However we waited about 10 min, ordered fries and one drink. 10 minutes goes by and we got the fries. Another 10 minutes the fries are gone. We still haven’t seen the one drink. About 20 minutes goes by and we get the drink, waitress says nothing. Took almost 30+ min to get one drink. Trying to pay that’s a whole other story. Had to go stand in the drink like and wait almost 15 min just to close the tab. Fries were tasty and drink was good, but $22 and mostly ice. Waitress said it was a very big drink. It in fact was just normal and was no stronger than a regular drink.

The steak bites with demi glaze came in a bowl with brown gravy instead. It tasted just like stew, it was just ” ok”. The “garlic bread” was a toasted hamburger bun. No joke. Our drinks and server were fabulous though,as was the outdoor seating area.

Got my nails done by Trish and she was great!! Completely transformed my food service hands into my exact vision! I got ballerina nails with french tips and Trish nailed it. Super relaxing with a nice atmosphere, I will definitely be returning 🙂 paid 98 for these with manicure, pricing is super fair.

Holiday vibes are great, we had hoped for a fun evening. Unfortunately our time and money went to waste as the service was absolute trash… If you’re looking for a place to wait over a hour for a single appetizer and drink… AND THEN wait in line at the bar to pay your final bill (instead of at your table) THIS is the place for you!

Super cool spot! I always love the mcmenamines vibe. The bartenders were super cool, even talked with us a bit through out our stay. Great food, great drinks. Will definitely be returning!

Such a great place to grab a drink and take it easy in Downtown Portland. Just a short walk away from Powell’s Books. Definitely worth a stop. The Zeus Cafe and Crystal Hotel are attached to this building as well if you would like a comfy bed or good food. The Annex bar is full of light with big windows that overlook the downtown streets. The Cellar Bar/Al’s Den is just underneath with a dark and sophisticated atmosphere. You can take the stairs down to the cellar bar from the street or from the annex. The bartenders were great!
