I usually come just to pick up some Hong Kong BBQ Pork, but decided to bring my family and eat lunch in the restaurant.
All the dishes we ordered came out fast, hot, and delicious. Service was great. We got the BBQ combo plate (pork and Ed), orange chicken, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, and XO beef chow mein. I am happily eating my leftovers as I write this. Just delicious!
Will definitely eat here again.

DO NOT get duck from HIP SING BBQ in Brooklyn Park.
I will never come back here. Ordered the red roasted duck, waited 15 minutes, paid $50 with tip, and when I got home, it was basically a box of bones with almost no meat.
When I called, the owner Sam was completely unprofessional, rude, yelling, and blaming me for supposedly “eating it” before taking pictures. Instead of apologizing, he told me, I would have to drive 45 minutes back that same night before closing. Yeah, no.
I went back the next day, and again he was rude, disrespectful, and literally counted the bones to question me, as if I was trying to scam him. Before giving me my refund, he told me, “I’m not going to do business with you at all.” Good, I won’t either!
This place has terrible customer service, no accountability, and zero respect for customers. Save yourself the money, the drive, and the frustration, go somewhere else.

Our big group dined in here, and while the food was okay, the service completely ruined the experience. We tipped based on the pre-tax amount, which is actually the standard tipping practice in the U.S. However, the owner became visibly upset and insisted we tip based on the post-tax total instead. She was grumpy, raised her voice at us, and made us feel very uncomfortable. In the end, we paid more just to avoid further conflict.
It’s really unfortunate because we were polite and followed normal tipping etiquette, but the owner’s attitude toward our group was unacceptable. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values respectful customer service.

I’ve been a regular customer here for years and usually order at least once a month. I truly like this place and want to see it do well. Their roasted duck has always been one of my go-to dishes and is consistently good.
That said, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both quality and portion size recently. On my most recent takeout order, I ordered the Golden Fried Sole Fillet with Garlic, Crab Meat & Fish Maw Soup, and Mixed Vegetables with Tofu and Mushroom.
Unfortunately, the sole fillet had only a few small pieces, which was disappointing. The $22 fish maw soup was served in a regular-sized to-go container and felt very underwhelming for the price. As a loyal customer, I was honestly surprised and disappointed that this was considered acceptable to send out.
The mixed vegetables with tofu and mushroom were portioned appropriately and were good, which I appreciated.
I’m sharing this because I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and hope they can return to the quality and value that kept me coming back for so long. I’d love to continue supporting this place, but consistency and fair portions really matter.

Ordered the pad thai and it taste like absolutely NOTHING but some oil , DOES NOT look like what they advertise on there menu page. Very disappointed & they also are very rude and careless, horrible customer service and food.

We came here for lunch, owners are super nice and sweet towards us. We dine in and ordered a lobster . The owner was friendly letting us know they have two types of pork. Crispy and glazed. She was speaking 5 languages, so so talented! Recommend for lunch, while we were there we did see a lot of take outs which we have done in the past!

I ordered crispy pork and the brown duck. There was no crispy skin and just a whole bunch of fatty pieces of pork. The duck had a smell to it. It stink and it wasn’t appetizing for me. The sticky rice was super sticky and gooey. I dont recommend anybody eating here or ordering here. Overpriced and quality is not great.

The combo platter was the best thing ever! The duck sauce was thick and sweet, the get on the chicken was perfect, and the BBQ pork was well flavored. The beef tendon was so soft, it melts in your mouth!

Food was delicious and came out quickly. Wanted to try their duck and got the special rice dish which included the duck, 2 different roast pork. The portion was huge and boy was it filling and delicious! The fried rice was amazing as well as the beef chow fun noodles. Even though the restaurant was mainly take out orders, there was plenty of seating available and very spacious. Service was exceptional as well and very friendly. Will definitely be stopping by for more food very soon!

People were friendly, complimented my truck. Egg rolls were burned. But the food, honestly……..we are mad. All of us. Even our homegirl who was FaceTiming us. They put orange slices on my orange chicken. Irritated our homegirl on video call too. They get the food up everybody be alright.
