I ordered 1 catfish filet w/6 pc. shrimp combo. I’m from Louisiana so I know what real catfish is when I see it and taste it. They are “catfishing” folks. The only thing that’s catfish at Don’s is their scheme . They are selling Swai & bamboozling people. I called and informed them that I specifically requested catfish but received Swai, he told me that I have to ask for American catfish. I told him that there were only two options for the combo that I ordered, those options were Catfish & Tilapia. Listen, I love my seafood but I’m picky due to unfortunate food illnesses.
Cocktail sauce- it was jelled because its old

Overall, the food was hot and the place looked well kept.

For one I had to go through the drive-through because the dine-in always close is never open. I ordered a two piece chicken and 2 egg rolls and some hard lobster on a stick two of them. I ordered a spicy shrimp fried rice but it looks like a vegetable fried rice cause I got more of that than shrimp and the carrots and peas where not cooked all the way. They really over killed the rice with the vegetables. Hell I could have made that at home. I will never go here again. Not at them prices.

Fried rice was bland. And the ratios were completely off. Way to many peas and not enough rice. My lemon pie was underdone. The catfish nuggets were also bland… Would not recommend this location

The food is always good, but they will leave something out your order quick. I never get my egg rolls when I order them in addition to other things. Went last week and actually got wm so hopefully they are doing better about that. Other than that, I love this place. Cheap prices, hot food!

I used to come here a lot as a kid. Although lately for the past few months, they haven’t been salting their fries at all. I ordered a double cheeseburger and the patties were still gray.. not fully cooked at all. I’m not sure what’s happening but it starting to disappoint me every time I come here.

Excellent atmosphere and friendly customer service. It’s such a shame the food has taken a major hit at this establishment.
Ordered the shrimp dinner tonight with a side of grits. Of all the items, The grits and hushpuppies were the only decent tasting things on the plate. The stuffed shrimp tasted completely rotten, like sour onion juice. The jacked up shrimp lacked flavor as did the fried and broiled shrimp. The shrimp au gratin tasted so rich, like pure cheese…it was in desperate need of some lemon juice and seasonings. I have no idea why the shrimp etouffee is even on the menu, it’s garbage and tasted like pure flour. A waste of $35. We most definitely will not be returning to this sad location.

Literally the best Chicken Fried Rice I could order from. I been having food from this place all of my life and they never disappoint. I definitely recommend this place, the amount of time to wait for your food can be a bit time consuming but it isn’t crucial.
