This place is good. I ordered a double smash which consists of 2 4oz patties, grilled onions, 2 slices of cheese, pickles, and a house made sauce. The bun is also grilled on the inside as you can see. Overall, the burger was juicy and delicious. The fries were good. It had light seasoning and were more on the crispy side vs some of the fluffy fries I have tried. The manager came out to check on me which was nice and I’m sure expected as this is a new establishment.
I definitely recommend this place and I will be back.
Overall food quality cleanliness friendly staffs Quick Service and excellent crunch on the chicken sandwich makes it worth it. Great Job!
The place is super clean! Dont hesitate!! Stop by… we were so hungry I forgot to take picks of our food.
Smash burger: Pretty good patty and bun. Smashed properly and not overly greasy. Cheese was good. Tried with and without
jalapeno and both were good.
Spicy chicken sandwich: Will not be ordering this again: Overly salted and hot-saucy taste. I can take spicy but this was like a bottle of salt and hot sauce was poured on the chicken. No no flavor (unless you consider hot sauce as flavor). Couldn’t even taste the pickles, slaw etc. Couldn’t finish it unfortunately due to the taste
Fries: Very average, right in the middle! (Gold standard being Five Guys Cajun Fries)
Shake: Oreo shake was pretty good
Service: A+
Tea: D
Solo dining: A
When two people that are married to each other unknowingly tell me about the same new burger joint (even though they haven’t been), I take it as a sign. If you go, I’d recommend coming in the front unless you drive a Chevy Spark. Let’s just say I had to check my vehicle for damage after a traffic poles attack. Once inside, you’ll find a simple menu. I got the Zojah Double – two smash beef patties, double cheese, grilled or raw onions, pickles, and Zojah sauce. I was asked if I would like any sauce for my fries but my order-taker couldn’t tell me if any of the sauces were housemade ♀️ except she knew the Zojah sauce was . Well gosh I’d hope so. The burger comes quick and the bun makes it look tiny… but it’s mighty… with strong smash effect. The patties are flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The cheese is melty and the perfect amount. I gave this burger an A- on overall flavor as it just wasn’t quite wow-ing me though it was really good. After deliberation, my diagnosis is that they were too skimpy on the sauce. Although I doubt they’d oblige a request for extra sauce as they charge a dollar for it as a fry dipper. And -warning- this burger is already at the high end on cost. The crinkle-cut fries are seasoned and perfectly cooked. This is the third trail stop in a row with no unsweet tea. Except this place has no intention to offer it. There are two of the refrigerated flowing containers (the platinum of tea dispensers) but one is lemonade and one sweet tea. Are there not enough boring people left in the world to keep iced tea around? Or has my doctor gone ahead of me to force drinking more water? Either way I’ll continue the good fight. I must mention that the service during my visit (if we ignore the lack of knowledge about sauces) was level 10. This is a counter-order place but food is brought to the table, there were multiple visits to check on me and offer refills, and a (presumed) manager/owner also came by to ask about my experience. Cheers to Zojah Burger for a nearly-grade-A smashburger with outstanding service!
