Had Lunch Dine In. Heidelberg bread with egg and cheese and my son had the same but also with bacon. Hot chocolate was not on the menu but they whipped up a delicious steamy hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream… great for a cold Fall day! While staying in Water Town NY and after googling resturants who served breakfast we decided to try out the Eatery on Main street in Tarrytown. It seems like egg Benedict is a popular staple for breakfast menus. The resturant is small inside but offers a outdoor seating area in the front. The menu items are all offered throughout the day. The menu offers tea for 1 or 2 people. I was in the mood to try out the eggs Benedict which also came with a tender green salad and dressing. Delicious! The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the two eggs were cooked right the muffin the eggs were served with was in between a English muffin and toast. I ordered a nice coffee which came with creme. Excellent. My husband chose the egg hash entree which was served with mashed beats. He said it was 5 star worthy and he recommends the dish. The server was efficient. The resturant only has one small bath room which is unisex and customers need to go behind the counter to get to it. The resturant is very clean

I can’t say enough positive things about the salads! I’m sure everything is amazing but I have only had the salads. They are fresh and loaded with ingredients! Price is great and she will deliver on Thursdays so perfect for work. My favorite is the Greek but the Club is awesome too. I just haven’t tried any of the other ones. I can’t wait to try the NYC Bagels!

The food was really good, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was great. What a fun place to visit in Watertown. It’s an unassuming little place. It’s worth a visit if you live in Watertown or you are passing through.

My wife and I are regulars at lunch time and love it. We try and make it in 2-3x a week.
I’m all about the burger which is, easily, the best in the city. My wife hops around the menu and has really enjoyed it all. We aren’t food picture people but it is social media worthy in its presentation.
Christin provides a great atmosphere and has some wonderful people helping her along the way. Everyone is always so nice and kind. It’s a nice break during a hectic workday.

I have eaten at this establishment on several occasions and have always been quite satisfied. Yesterday I had the Smash Burger with fries. It was very good and the portion was so large that I split it in half so my wife could have it for her lunch too. I now know why it is called a smash burger because it smashes your appetite ! The fries were served hot and crispy and were also very tasty.

What a breath of fresh air at The Eatery. So far, my family and I have eaten breakfast there twice. The food is fresh and delicious. I especially love the avocado and Canadian bacon on toast. The seasoning on the avocado and the sprinkled sesame seeds add such a good touch. I love well seasoned food. We plan to go back for lunch. And of course, go back often. And Christin, the owner, aims to please her customers. I’m so happy she opened a restaurant that serves breakfast on this side of town. What a fine addition to the square area.

This is a very nice little new restaurant. Very well meaning and great tasting food. Maybe it’s just because it’s still early in this restaurants life but it took about 40 minutes to make two sandwiches to go.
The dining area was nicely decorated, but felt quiet like something was missing. They could use some nice music for the dining area to help with the atmosphere a bit, otherwise it feels a bit like a waiting room at a doctors office.
Again, they are still figuring things out (this could be just growing pains here that I’m complaining about) and the food was rather tasty/good, but be prepared to wait for your food until they figure out the flow of things.
