Phenomenal dining experience here! The wings are out of this world—hands down the best on Long Island. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and clearly made with care. The service was great from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed, making it an ideal spot to hang out, enjoy good food, and take your time. When we first walked into Billy’s Beach Cafe, it looked like a typical bar with a bunch of regulars and an older crowd. We weren’t sure if we should stay but we’re really glad we did.
We started with a big pretzel that was soft and tasty. The mustard dip was tangy and good, and the cheese sauce was simple but worked. The artichoke dip came in a bread bowl, and honestly, that bread bowl was amazing – it had a crispy outside, super soft inside. The dip itself was solid, and even though the chips didn’t have salt, it was still good overall.
Sweet potato fries were awesome – crispy and came in a big portion. Everything was priced really well too.
I had the beer-battered cod sandwich. It was a little on the softer side, and the flavor was great and the fish was fresh. The tidbits were a hit with our group and large portioned and flavorful. The wraps were big and packed with meat. The Mexican burger had a little kick but wasn’t too spicy, and the onion rings were super crunchy. Nothing fried felt and tasted greasy, which was great.
Overall, we had a great time and a really good meal. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Went a couple of Sunday afternoons ago for lunch with a friend. I was so excited to see the Steak Tidbits garlic bread sandwich on menu. It’s been so long since I had so I was looking forward to it. WOW! Did not disappoint! Play even cut it up into equal squares. yummy. The sweet potato fries just didn’t do it for me. That day anyway. I like them a bit greasy, but these were dry. Great place. Friendly locals, and I felt right at home! Staff was nice and attentive. Buss-boy was keeping himself busy – good job! Definitely would go back. Prices are set point.

Came here on a friend’s recommendation—he said the wings were legendary. The place was immaculate, the staff was super friendly, and at first glance, it looked like a solid five-star spot.
Then I saw the cook leave the bathroom. No soap. One hand under the water for maybe five seconds. Then wiped it on his pants and went straight back to the kitchen like that was normal.
I had to walk out. I don’t care how clean the dining room looks or how good the wings are supposed to be—if the person cooking my food can’t be bothered to wash their hands after that, it’s a hard no from me.
From five stars to never coming back in a matter of seconds.
