I’m extremely frustrated with my experience. The prices listed online did not match what I was charged in the restaurant. Based on the menu, my total should have been around $55, but my receipt showed $68.66 for food alone. When checking out, the tipping screen only offered options starting at 18%, which felt forced. I selected 18%, bringing my total to about $81.
After leaving, I received a bank notification showing I was actually charged $97 which is more than the amount I authorized. I immediately returned to the restaurant to ask about the discrepancy and was told a manager would call me that night or the next day. I never received a call. When I followed up two days later, the manager knew exactly who I was, yet no one had contacted me to resolve the issue.
I did not authorize a $97 charge and expect this to be corrected promptly. After I returned to the restaurant about the unauthorized charge, they handed me $16 in cash and told me I needed to sign something to accept it. At that point, the staff was giving me attitude, and I did not feel comfortable signing anything. I refused and walked out.
This situation feels extremely unprofessional and misleading. Between the price discrepancies, the forced tipping screen, the unauthorized additional charge, and then being pressured to sign after the fact, this entire experience felt like a scam. I do not understand how this business continues to operate this way.

I was very bothered that they added a surcharge on our meals when paying with a debit card. If you want to pay the price on the menu, bring cash. There are quite a few good restaurants in town that don’t do this. We will probably frequent those in the future.

I will never eat here again. The food is absolutely gross and the service is terrible. We went Sunday afternoon before it was busy. My server was not nice. She acted as though we were an inconvenience to her.
When she brought my food it was wrong and she had take it back and when she brought it back you could tell they scraped the cheese off the enchilada and poured the chili con carne on top of it and you could tell it was watered down. I cut the enchilada in the middle and the cheese was not melted it was shredded store bought cheese. The taco meat was grey, I tasted it and was gross and took the plate from my son. I spelt my glass over on the table, I had to get up and wipe the ice and water off my jeans and shirt and not one employee came to help me and I immediately asked for the check. Again they were NOT BUSY. I told the cashier that I spilled a glass of water and nobody came to help me clean it up and she actually told me someone is cleaning it now. The food is terrible, service is awful and the staff is rude.
Paid $18 for a horrible meal that we did not eat.

Good basic food. Chips, salsa and quac were very good! Not a lot of atmosphere and it could use a little bit of a face lift inside, but would go back if we are in area again.

Not sure, what to think. I’ve always had the steak Street. Today my son got 2 burritos and ate one, said it tasted like straight dog food so he opened up the second one and noticed pink meat. Probably won’t be going back after seeing these other reviews on here now too. Just make sure you open anything up before eating it from here.

Absolutely love this place, That only is the food delicious but it’s original. The owner has put several things on the menu that I have never seen any other restaurant do and it’s all amazingly Delicious The service is always friendly, quick and while sometimes it feels pricey for what you are getting it’s really not especially when compared to another Mexican restaurants in mabank that is priced the same if not more expensive and yet has horrible food with no innovation that simply simply you will not find here as I said in the beginning food is amazing And like nothing I’ve ever see service is awesome. Just flat out love this place it’s a regular in our Friday night eat outs

The music videos Playing on the TV were not family friendly, Hispanic music is ok in a texmex restaurant but not bump and grind dancing with badly dressed woman where there are children in the restaurant. The other TV’s played all the same game not different sports like most sport bars if that is what they were going for.

We dined in on a Monday around 2. Service was friendly. Food was fresh and very good. Drinks were good. The only thing I could recommend is better napkins and more water fill ups. Will be back and will recommend.
