Im from Texas and I work in Philly on occasions for a customer.
Found Reens Deli a year ago and was addicted. Had a bad snow storm a couple days back and Reens was shut down (understandable). But Pats was open decided to give it a try.
I walked up and the door was locked, I began to walk to my car and someone chased me out to tell me they were opening soon and to come on in. I obliged.
Staff was INCREDIBLY friendly. They were flipping chairs over for opening and was happy I was there, despite being there before they opened.
I ordered soup first. Not sure what it was, but I have a feeling the lady who owned the joint and had a hand in making it (she was super sweet). It was freaking incredible. They served the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. Some kind of butter garlic marinara mixture they paste in it on the loaf half. I ate like 4 of them.
They were running a bit slow because they just opened and dude came up and said “she told me to give you another bowl”. Didn’t even ask for it. Just incredibly kind.
I ordered the Carbonara. It came out and I was legit blown away. So good. The portion was so generous I didnt even have to buy dinner, had it for leftovers that evening for dinner.
I think it goes without saying, I really enjoyed my meal at Pats Pizzeria. I will be back.

I usually have a good experience with the drivers and usually tip them well. We ordered food for my daughter at home. She is always skeptical of people making deliveries at the house with crime spree city we are stuck in. The driver knocks on the door with no answer and leaves which is understandable able. A phone called was made back if they can drop it off and leave it at the door. The people on the phone seemed to understand. The driver came back with an attitude and throws the food on the porch. The food was a mess. Cheese everywhere and sauce. Just be beware of this driver. The food is good but has always been hit or miss. I don’t think I’ll be calling this place again. I usually tip heavy and the other drivers will most likely know the address.
Just ordered again trying to have better hopes for this place. Pats large order of fries is pathetic. White sandwich bag with the bag filled 4inch high with fries. Unreal. Never again ordering from this place. I originally gave them 3 stars. That was too generous. Zero effort with deliveries. Zero effort with service.

I recently ordered their pizza later at night around 8 and the pizza arrived one time and I always love the delivery drivers but tonight’s food was not good. When I took one bite of my pizza all I tasted was salt, I don’t know if it was the sauce or the crust but it tasted like they dumped salt all over and it was not appetizing. Now I will still always order pats because of how long I have ordered there and the time it takes to get delivered. But I am seriously not pleased.

I was a little sad about my order today, the Caeser wrap had absolutely no flavor, and one speck of lettuce. My fries were bland and dry & my broccoli pizza slice had all of 4 pieces ot Broccoli on it, almost as if they just threw random pieces of it on a regular cheese sliced pizza. Usually their food is good, but I wasn’t satisfied today…. And i never leave reviews but this was very sad.

Sauce is great, cheese is too dripy ( I DO NOT LIKE MY CHEESE DRIPY ) The cheese is to messy but if you let to cool down its fine I guess. Service and atmosphere is good and there is plenty of seats, the pizza is good other than the messy chese which brings the place from a 4 to a 3, the sauce and crust is carrying tbh

Horrible. I ordered a buffalo chicken finger wrap on white,I got a diced up COLD wrap thrown together. The cheese was not even melted. The fries were also cold and thrown right in the trash, same with the undercooked ravioli. Everything horrible 40$ of garbage.

Got a chicken cheesesteak and it barely had any meat in it and when i took it back i got a “refund” which was not the amount i paid and a rude cashier that didnt even want to hear it. Come her all the time, very disappointed!

Update: my family just had lunch here. Not sure why they don’t serve pasta during lunch time but they still made it for us. Their Shrimp Parmigiana was the bomb!! Our server is nice and attentive. Pizza was really good and huge portion of Fries. Glad we gave it another try!

Not what it used to be This was a “lightly cooked 1/2 mushroom, 1/2 blk olive and onion”. Should have asked for extra cheese I guess…. entire spots in the middle just crust….Bummer…the bottom is light, the top is burnt bc no cheese
