You won’t find legit NY style pizza anywhere else in this area. The dough is the right thickness. The sauce has the right amount of tang. The cheese mix screams NY style. This tastes like I’m in North Jersey eating a slice while looking across the bay at NYC. I’ve had all of the novelty pizzas and Italian restaurant pizzas in the greater Charlotte area. VIP is consistently great. Not just their pizza but their baked spaghetti is S-Tier. Their staff are great too. This is sitting at 4.3 out of 5 which is criminal IMO. A perfect 5 doesn’t exist but VIP is at least a 4.8 out of 5. I have been eating here twice a month for 6+ years. I’ve never had one single bad experience.

The fried ravioli was decent, but could’ve been a little crispier. Kids liked the cheesy knots, but wish there was garlic on them and that there were more than 4 per order. Pizza was just ok. It was underdone (after we asked for well done), the cheese fell right off, and the sauce was just meh. The best part of our meal was the wings. The hot sauce was really good, and they were perfectly crispy. The blue cheese tasted like a generic bottled brand.

Overall a decent little local spot. We had some rough experiences with customer service a few years back, but they have turned that aspect around. The food is pretty good overall, and we definitely prefer it to the pizza chain delivery places.

Tried VIP for the 1st time since we moved into the area. Loved the NY style thin crust pizza, sauce was nice too. Probably my fave pizza in the area. Also tried the baked ziti which was very good too. Looking forward to my next pizza already and trying more of the menu. And…prices are very reasonable and food was ready when we arrived for carry out.

Absolutely loved VIPizza as a first time visitor. Our food was so fresh and flavorful. The wings and pizza came out very quick as well. I would highly recommend and we will be back next year when we come to see the lights.

Pricey but well worth it. The crust is so thin you can fold it NY style. The white pie was sooo good. The lasagna slice was huge my daughter ate it for two days. I ordered the chicken cheese steak and got the philly instead but hey I love a good philly. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. He said it was very good. Sauce on point and thin chicken. I highly recommend it.
