If you haven’t been to Timeout Tavern in Janesville to eat, you’re missing out on something pretty amazing. Saturday night specials: All you can eat ribs $16.99 or 16-18 oz prime rib for $18.99. I also had a bowl of homemade roasted garlic tomato soup. The place is packed and the food and service is excellent! These people got it right ❤️

Newly renovated, enjoyed our meal and time here. Friendly small town atmosphere, place is clean and good selection on the menu. We had the pizza, a large is HUGE and plenty to bring home for future lunches.
Watched some NCAA playoff games on TV. Owner was more than willing to change channels for or preference. That also have a separate dining area for families if you did not want to eat on the bar side.
Will be back again!

So glad Janesville has this charming treasure to offer now! It has been remodeled into a welcoming country chic vibe with an outstanding menu! Our server, Jessica was great and our food was delicious! I can’t wait to hit up their breakfast! We will definitely be back!

This place was amazing when Lee was cooking and managing the kitchen. His customer interaction alone spoke for itself. Things have gone downhill since he left. Apparently there was a falling out amongst owners. Too bad really. This place had so much upside! I feel bad for the waitstaff. For the sake of the business, let’s hope Sarah gets Lee back in there.

Awesome place. When I was there it was packed and we still got our order in a acceptable time. Prices where awesome. Because of the prices I did not order what I normally order. I went out of the box and really enjoyed the meal. Hats off to them.

The wings: Great sauce, great ranch, but for the price they are very small to pay $1/piece. I think they likely have a good crust, but I let them sit a bit long and they got a bit soggy in the buffalo.
The burgers: Well it comes with choice of side. I can say the fries are a solid 9/10. Great crunch and a well cooked inside. Good amount and not greasy. The burger itself felt very mediocre. The bun was good, comes with lettuce and tomato. The lettuce could’ve looked better/fresher. The tomato looked perfect. The burger meat was probably a good quality, but boy were both our burgers which were doubles overcooked. I mean no pink at all. Completely grey and dried out. Defiantly need to improve that, next time I will be sure to request medium.
Our togo order came with no ketchup, mustard, or napkins so prepare for that or request it maybe. Nothing was missing from our order and the bartender made sure the order had the ranch for the wings. A very good touch to make sure the kitchen is getting it right before someone gets home.
The 4/5 is because I think their foundation is good. Price is reasonable even if a bit high. I hope they take review as an opportunity for improvement. Next time I’m in I’ll be sure to have a chat with them. Hoping for them to become a good goto food and bar in town. Should they resolve the cooking quality issues a 4.5 could be achieved, but a 5/5 is out of reach due to pricing being high. For two double burger baskets and 6 wings it was just over $29. If you’re eating there you’d have a drink and tip. So you’d be looking at dropping $40-45.

With having Adam and Shannon as two of the main cooks of the kitchen the food is EXCELLENT! The service is top notch at this facility I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to come in and take a load off after a long day and have a drink or two or come in for a nice home cooked style meal or burger!
