If I were the chef, I’d have a lot to discuss with the front of the house.
Excellent food. Poor service. I fear the restaurant is understaffed. The two tables in front of us left within moments of our start. For the entirety of our dinner (nearly 2 hours) one was left dirty and unattended. It was 35 minutes after we sat before we were asked for drink orders. In that time, we watched the servers stand around and chat and step outside for periods of time. Not to mention, we were not given all of the menus to begin with. We were never brought water after asking twice. Finally, we had to ask 3 times (the same server) for our check.
The food is the saving grace of this place. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s one of the best meals I’ve eaten in months. The beef carpaccio was unique in its flavors and additions. The steak frites was cooked well and flavorful (would recommend the pepper sauce over the signature Beef Bar sauce). And, finally, the veal milanese (New York style) was like a perfect veal parmesan.
Everything we ate was exceptional. The service left a lot to be desired. Seemed odd for a franchise that is established all over the world. Maybe it’s just this Beef Bar. Maybe it’s all of them. Regardless, there is a glaring discrepancy between the unimpressive work being done in the front of the house and the exceptional work being done in the kitchen.

Have been desperate to take my partner to Beefbar ever since I visited the Paris location in 2020, and Strasbourg certainly didn’t disappoint. We had great and knowledgable service from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic about the food, and had great banter. The food was exceptional, in the top five steaks we’ve had, if not the the top one. Every side, starter & dessert was fantastic. The cocktail was so beautifully presented and expertly made. The location is gorgeous, a beautiful art deco theme. We really enjoyed our time here & look forward to visiting again.

Amazing restaurant! The food at Le Petit Beefbar in Strasbourg was excellent – everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. We felt very welcome. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

Exquisite food and efficient service. We shared the Double Black Angus Ribeye “rare”. Probably the best steak I have had in over a year. Perfectly cooked along with a bottle of Margaux. Heaven.

The food and vibes were amazing!! Highly recommend the Parmesan truffle fries 🙂 the only thing I would say is that we were told that fries / mash came with the entree but when we upgraded to the truffle and lemon lime mash instead of paying the difference they just added them to are order so we had a lot of extra food haha but they were amazing so we weren’t complaining about it. Willll come again

Amazing food and very French vibes! Service was impeccable, food was incredible. Highly recommend the Steak frites with the signature sauce. Love the candle plate that the steak rested upon, kept the meat warm! The waiters made a great effort speaking English despite it being more difficult! We will be back!

We had been to other beef bars around the world including the one in Paris and Monaco as well as Pont des Vosges before turning into Le petit BB and I can say food in general is very good ( except tarte flambee that needs sauce improvements) steak is a must and wont dissatisfied you , lasagna (big surprise)was amazing and the desserts are fantastic.
Bartender even prepared a delicious very different Irish coffee.
My only complaint is that service could be much better.Specially for the price you pay and the chain/franchise expectations you have should be top notch and sadly, these guys made an effort but you could see stress, disorganized team trying their best.
Evidently they need more personnel ( to make it even worse, our waiter literally passed out in the middle of the service ( all good, he recovered miraculously and appeared at the end of dinner back again) Very polite team and making an amazing effort but it is not good for clientele to see the team stressed and running like chickens with no heads.You guys need more waiters.Great job by Nicolas taking care of our little princess dessert and plate selection ( attention to detail).
Suggestion;Better start preparing for the Holiday season.
Dont get me wrong,Dinner in general was great ( we were celebrating a birthday so we were chill) just be patience.And yes, I’ll be back for lunch soon.

We had dinner for two, we ordered 2x steak frites and the classic mash potato. The mash potato was one of the best I have ever had and the steak with delicious.
The staff went above and beyond for us and the service was incredible.
Will definitely be back and will try the other locations!

An overall AMAZING experience dining here while visiting for the holidays. Cocktails were ESPECIALLY delicious and perfectly made while the staff were lovely and helpful in providing a great experience. The food was perfect and ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. Will definitely be visiting again !
